6. Brightens Complexion & Evens Out Skintone
Hada Labo’s Air BB Cream comes in two shades: Natural Beige and Ivory Beige. These natural shades help brighten the skin’s complexion for a radiant look. It also helps even out skintone and conceals dark spots, fine lines and blemishes.
Hada Labo invited Monica Lee, a famous professional makeup artist to demo the correct techniques to apply Hada Labo’s 10-in-1 Air BB Cream.
Monica has advised the dabbing and rubbing techniques to us. Using the dabbing technique, it will cover the pigment areas like acne, dark spots and freckles. And by using the rubbing method, it will spread the BB cream evenly on face but will not cover enough for pigment areas.
It’s best to combine both methods to achieve flawless skin. Hada Labo Air BB Cream allows layering and Monica has adviced to apply 4 layers of it. As you can see, the key here is to apply very little product on each layer to achieve flawless skin. It is recommended to apply with foundation brush for more even coverage.

There are 2 shades available, natural beige and ivory beige. All of us had the impression that ivory beige should be lighter than natural beige by its name but indeed it’s opposite. Natural beige is the ligther shade that’s suitable for skin like me and ivory beige is the darker tone that’s more suitable for Malay and Indian pals.

I’ve tried the Hada Labo Air BB Cream in ivory beige that was given by Hada Labo. The BB cream works well to cover my pores and uneven skin tone like a foundation does, and it did not clog my pores like the other. It’s so light that people don’t even notice I’ve put any makeup on.
Due to my combination skin, my t-zone has become oily after 5 hours but It’s not very bad though.
The Hada Labo Air BB Cream is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, mineral oil-free and low irritant on the skin, which makes it ideal for all skin types including sensitive skin types.
The Hada Labo Air BB Cream (40g) is available at all leading pharmacies nationwide starting December 2012 at RM 55.90, pretty affordable, right. :)
