Mary Kay® One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest in Celebration of 50th anniversary

Mary Kay Malaysia kicks start the One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest through an exclusive media launch event; a colorful afternoon with the beauty contest launch.

Seven beautiful and confident Mary Kay's Independent Executive Senior Sales Directors have shared their story and thought on how Mary Kay has impact their life, of course, in a postivive and encouraging point of view.

The event was then followed with a makeup demonstrations using the latest Mary Kay® color products by the makeup trainer, Susan Law.

Susan first used the Oil free hydrating gel to prep the model's skin, and then followed by primer and liquid foundation in Beige 5. She used the foundation brush to apply and blend with a sponge to make the foundation looks more natural. And then Mineral loose powder was applied to the model's skin.

Susan then drew the eyebrow started from the arch and used the beautiful purple eye shadow for the eye makeup. Liquid eye liner and pencil were used to enhance the eye makeup, and not to be missed, curled the eyelash before applying the waterproof mascara.

Then, Susan introduced the latest Mary Kay cosmetic product - Sheer Dimensions™ Powder which comes in 4 shades. Sheer Dimensions™ Powder is an exquisite finishing touch that makes one skin look smoother as it diminishes the appearance of fine lines with stunning, all-over luminosity. It's very easy to differentiate the shades by the printed pattern on the powder.

Pearls delivers sheers, all-over luminosity and a camera-ready finish. It could be used as highlight at the beginning of upper eyebrow, the bridge of nose, as well as cheek bone. It can also be applied to shoulders and decollete for more sexy look.

Ribbon could be blends seamlessly with any skin tone, one could use it to highlight the brusher for more dimensional look.

Lace is perfect for everyday in a range of shades and finishes, from matte to satin to pearlescent. It could be used as cheek color too.

Chiffon with the breakthrough technology allows for intricate, fashion-inspired designs with unprecedented depth, it is perfect for contour purposes.

Last but not least, the makeup would never complete without a lip liner and lip color.

The Mary Kay® One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest is part of Mary Kay Asia Pacific’s region collaboration for the Mary Kay global 50th anniversary. Mary Kay® One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest starts from 8th March to 10th May 2013 and will see beautiful transformations of women in Malaysia and Singapore through exciting makeover sessions by Mary Kay's Independent Sales Force nationwide in both countries.

Mary Kay® One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest 2013 will make 5 women’s dreams come true as they will win a trip to Hong Kong to attend the grand finale star-studded event. There, local country winners will compete against other Asia Pacific winners to earn the coveted Mary Kay Asia cover girl title.

To celebrate the official launch of One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest on Friday, March 8, also the International Women’s Day, Mary Kay Malaysia and Singapore joins with other Mary Kay subsidiaries on five continents for the first-ever Mary Kay® Global Makeover Day, a kick off simultaneous event uniting all of Mary Kay in setting a world record for the most number of makeovers done in 24 hours.
