Skincare and cosmetic company Shizens launched its formula for perfect skin, Shui, at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur in June 2013.
Inspired by the clear purity of mountain water as one of the best beauty elixirs for better skin, Shui is created especially for women, to strengthen the skin’s immune system and to help regain the skin’s youth.
Shui, a watery aqua-based product, is a pure and natural way to detoxify and replenish nutrients for healthier, supple and luminous skin. Various botanical extracts are included to develop the formulation to its best. The essence is also enriched with the Ganoderma Lucidum extract from a type of mushroom known as ‘Reishi’ or ‘Ling Zhi’. It is said to help enhance the immune system of skin and delay ageing. The extract is also known as the “Medicine of Eternal Life” and is said to inhibit the formation and deposition of melanin and irritations in skin.
Other ingredients in Shui include Patchouli extract and Corallina Officinalis extract. These botanical extracts are said to stimulate regeneration of skin cells and improve intercellular adhesion, contributing to improve skin elasticity. The high content of trace elements and mineral salts in the extracts nourish and revitalise the skin, ensuring there is sufficient moisture within.
The Ginkgo Biloba Leaf extract and Kalanchoe Spathulata extract provide maximum anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory protection. Shui is also formulated with Centella Asiatica extract and Root extract that could help decelerate the skin ageing process.
Using the latest technological advancements, all botanical plants in the ingredients were carefully selected and went through a comprehensive analysis and quality control process to produce an active component of the best quality.
When asked how the product differs from other skincare products, Shizens’ brand ambassador, Jojo Goh said, “Most other products address certain skin problems only. Shui is different. Shui ultimately strengthens the skin.”
