Discover A River-filled Adventure

The city of Singapore is brought to life with exciting wildlife encounters at the four parks managed by Wildlife Reserves Singapore, namely Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari, and Singapore Zoo. Discover the rare and endangered freshwater dwellers from iconic river habitats at the newly opened River Safari, Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park.

Mr Lee Meng Tat, CEO, Wildlife Reserves Singapore said during the party at The Bee Publika not long ago, “Malaysian visitors have shown tremendous support towards Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, and Singapore Zoo over the years, and to complete the ultimate wildlife experience, we invite you to visit our latest addition – River Safari. This yearend holiday season would be an opportune time to visit this new park as we will launch the Amazon River Quest boat ride in December 2013.”

In addition to River Safari, visitors can also explore the renowned Singapore Zoo for some fun at Zoo Hoo, see Night Safari turn into a wildlife wonderland for Mystica, or sign their little ones up as a Junior Wildlife Reporter in Jurong Bird Park to hone their observation and writing skills.

The Lightseeker: A musical by Resorts World Sentosa (Nov ’13 – Mac ’14)

In a magical world, a terrifying warrior called the General pursues a precious energy that will make his ominous Emperor more powerful. His quest leads him to Nova, an enigmatic girl, who seems to have the ability to create The Light. A battle for The Light ensues and he captures Nova, but he soon discovers that her presence calls into question the only world he has ever known. With songs written by acclaimed songwriter, Dick Lee (Golden Horse Awards, 1996, Singapore Cultural Medallion, 2005) and featuring an international cast of West End performers, this is a musical not to be missed.

My Fair Lady at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Theatre (11 – 23 Feb 2014)
Based on George Bernard Shaw's 1912 play Pygmalion, MY FAIR LADY will transport audiences to Edwardian London and one of the most beautiful stories ever told about language and clash of cultures. It follows the relationship between Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl, and the snobbishand misogynistic Professor Henry Higgins, a phoneticist, who wagers that he can turn Eliza into a "proper lady" in three months' time. Those who experience MY FAIR LADY will be enchanted by this tale of triumph of the human spirit, as well as the love story that emerges between two unlikely heroes, ultimately joined together by their fascination with the English language. This is no doubt, the world’s greatest musical!
