BCL BFF Makeup Party

I’ve been reading so much rave about Beauty Creative Lab(BCL) products since last year. When I know that they are throwing a BCL BFF Makeup Party on last weekend, I quickly registered myself and Sherry to the party.

Originated from Japan, BCL is suitable for fashionable young, working adults who want to look good.

We were greeted by Daizo Abe-san before the workshop begun. He introduced us the Makeup guru who came all the way from Japan – Takeru Hiroki-san to us.

Both of them are so charming.

Pretty Model of the day. On the left face is the Cool beauty look, and right face is the Japanese Idol look. Which them you prefer more?

Hiroki-san taught us how to create Cool Beauty look and Japanese Idol look during the 2 hours workshop.

Cool Beauty theme.

Cool Beauty look is for those who want to have a defined and mature result.

Japanese Idol theme.

Japanese Idol look is for those who wants to look supernatural.

Firstly, apply base makeup onto the whole face.

Hiroki-san used BCL Clearlast Natural Cover Pact 01 Natural Ocher on the model’s face.

A tip from Hiroki-san - Don’t apply too much powder on the edge of our face because it will create strong contrast that made us look odd.

Then we start to paint our face by drawing eyebrow.

For Cool beauty look, use the Browlash EX W Eyebrow Pencil & liquid to draw a defined eyebrow with arch.

Whereas for Japanese Idol look, use the Browlash EX W Eyebrow Gel Pencil & Powder to create a soft and straight eyebrow.

Next, apply the multi-functional product – Makemania Data Gradation tip shadow on eye lid.

Makemania Data Gradation tip shadow can be used as eyeliner, eye shadow, eyebrow color, and even to highlight the eye bag. Highlight eye bag is the hot trend in Japan now because it made us look more innocent and kawaii.

Makemania Data Gradation tip shadow comes in 2 shades, Bronze Brown and Light Brown. Use the bronze brown for Cool beauty look and the light brown for Japanese idol look.

When the eye color is done, it’s time to apply eyeliner. BCL has 3 types of eyeliner – Browlash EX water strong liner, Browlash EX slim gel pencil, and Browlash EX Perfect Mascara & Eyeliner.

I like the Browlash EX Perfect Mascara & Eyeliner the most because it has a pretty shimmery brown liner and black mascara.

Next, apply mascara on curled eyelash. There were 3 mascara for us to choose from – Volume lash fiber, Browlash EX perfect mascara & liner and Browlash EX Lash curler express.

Hiroki-san taught us to apply the black mascara from outside to inside, and then apply Browlash EX mascara Lash curler express for 3 seconds on top of the eyelash to create beautiful eyelashes.

Now the eye makeup is done, it’s time to finish the look with cheek color and lip color.
