Review: Makeup Revolution Cosmetics

I like to play with makeup and colors because it could transform a person instantly. There are a lot of brands available in the market and I’ve came across a new brand last quarter of 2014, the Makeup Revolution.

Makeup Revolution is originated from the UK, offers wide range of makeups with affordable price.

I’ve tried a few of their products below;

1) Redemption palette romantic smoke (RM 32)

The Redemption palette romantic smoke eyeshadow palette looks like Urban Decay’s Naked palette, but it cost just a quarter of the price.

The palette comes with 12 colors (combination of shimmer and matte) an applicator, and I found them best apply with a brush. They are easy to blend and buff into the skin.

2) Light shimmer (RM 16)

Shimmer is used to create the perfect sun kissed look and to contour the face. The shimmer comes with a sponge and a mirror.

It is easily blend able and build able for the desired look.

Available in 3 shades: Light-Shimmer, Medium-Matte, Bronzed

3) The One concealer (RM 24)

The One concealer is used to cover imperfections and dark circles. It has the formula like Benefit fakeup which containing a moisturising outer ring, to hydrate and prevent creasing or fading for the concealer inner core.

Available in 3 shades: Light, Medium, Dark

4) Lipstick (RM8)

The lipstick has an outstanding formula and so affordable. There are over 20 shades of this creamy, long lasting lipstick with high colour payoff. From nudes to brights, and mattes to creamy there is something to suit everyone.

5) I Heart Makeup the Wow Stick Atomic (RM 29)

Super Intense Cream Matte shades which is waterproof too. I tried the Heart of Glass shade, which is a light coral shade. I like the color payoff but I dislike it’s matte & dry finishes, which made my dry lip lines more obvious when apply.
