Now Opened! DirectD Gadget Mega Store along Federal Highway- Malaysia’s Largest Mobile Phone Mega Store

When I shop for gadgets and mobile phone, I prefer to go to a large store because I found it more trustable and more variety to choose from. Now there’s good news for people in PJ, Selangor and Klang Valley; DirectD opened its 6th outlet, Malaysia’s largest gadget and mobile phone mega store, along Federal Highway, one of the busiest highways in the city. The store opens all year-round to reshape and redefine the shopping experience for mobile devices.
The store is really huge and spacious. It was conceived and designed by DirectD’s own team guided by its core principle of bringing value to end users. It occupies about 18,000 square feet on a two Storey building offering one-stop solutions for mobile/smart phones, gadgets, accessories and telecommunication services.
Congratulations on your Grand Opening!
At the main entrance sits a wide welcome reception table that is centrally located and thus splitting the storefront in two, a key feature of the facade. Spotlights and luminescent wide windows along the storefront create an impressive and bright effect.
Inside the store is a succession of symmetrical display table by major international brand names like Acer, Apple, Asus, HTC, Honor, Huawei, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Samsung, Sony and Xiaomi along a majestic glass gallery. I like the wide selections of gadgets available there.
The 2nd floor housed more than 1,000 different types of accessories, service centre, payment counter, credit facilities and telecommunications services by Maxis, Digi and U-Mobile. Malaysia’s largest 4G network connection counter, YES followed by DirectD’s membership and gifts redemption counter are located on the left hand side of the building.

Review: Avène Product Range for Eczema-Prone Skin

I discovered my younger daughter eczema issue while she was only few months old. She suffers from skin rashes and itchiness when eczema affected her. When I received product sponsorship from Avène to try out their product range for Eczema-prone skin, I immediately accepted because I wanted to try it out on my girl, in the hope of solving her eczema.
Avène product range for Eczema-prone skin is suitable for all ages with Eczema skin condition, even to infants and children. I received 4 products to try on my girl, and have been using them for more than a month now.

1) Avène Cicalfate Repair Cream 40ml, RM 45 (Before GST)
Cicalfate Repair Cream is a new product from Avène, which is already available from February 2015 onwards.
Avène Cicalfate Repairing Cream can be used to heal cracked lips, dry irritation, cuts, light burns, bug bites, diaper rash, and laser treated areas and pimple scars.
I like its non-scented formula. It forms a barrier on my girl’s skin after massage it in. This way, it locks the moisture in the skin and prevents skin from dryness and itchiness.
Directions for Use:

Apply once or twice a day to previously cleaned or dried skin.

2) Avène Cold Cream Ultra Rich Soap-free Cleansing Bar 25g

MAGNUM has been known as a premium ice-cream over several decades. Its line-up promises premium indulgence to pleasure seekers. Its sumptuous, luxury taste derived from its key ingredient, the Belgian chocolate, which is appreciated as the finest and most premium chocolate. No doubt MAGNUM is me and my family all-time favourite premium ice-cream.
Belgian chocolate is a deep culinary tradition dating back to the 17th century where it was created to indulge the royalties. The unique combination of the finest ingredients, exclusive production methods and stringent quality controls makes Belgian chocolate a favourite worldwide.
MAGNUM Kuala Lumpur is located at Mid Valley Megamall

MAGNUM recently hosted an exclusive fine dining session at MAGNUM Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the best of Belgian Indulgence where guests were invited to caress their senses by experiencing exquisite chocolate inspired dishes created using the highest quality Belgian chocolate by Chef Steven Chin, Group Executive Chef of Magnum Kuala Lumpur. I was honoured to be invited to this luscious and memorable event. During the event, guests were tantalized with a 4 course chocolate inspired signature dishes.
For starters, guests were served with spice butternut squash velouté which is a butternut pumpkin soup, scented with cinnamon and topped with shaved bitter dark chocolate. The dark chocolate gave a smooth and light bitter taste of chocolate for the creamy butternut soup and the dark chocolate goes amazingly well with cinnamon.
The soup taste unique and special

Review: Human Nature 100% Natural Safe Block

If you have been reading my blog, you should have heard of down to earth and Human Nature already. If you do not know yet, Human Nature is a Philippines brand that produces natural products, whereas down to earth is a company based in Penang that sells Human Nature products. I have been using some of their products from skin care, body care and hair care. This time I would like to share my view on Human Nature 100% Natural Safe Block.
Human Nature 100% Natural Safe Block is a water resistant sunblock that blocks 93% of the sun’s harmful rays. It is very important to safeguard our skin from aging UV damage hence sun block is a must have for me.
Human Nature Safe Block is 100% natural just like almost all of Human Nature products. They always avoid adding chemicals and artificial ingredients that most often cause skin irritation or lead to skin sensitivity as such ingredients are easily absorbed by the skin.
Human Nature Safe Block is a physical sunscreen that stays on our skin’s surface to deflect the sun’s UV rays.
Human Nature Safe Block has a creamy texture. It has a fresh yet light scent which I like. I had to massage it in circular motion so that it looks even on my skin. It forms a protect layer on my skin which was quite water resistant.  It comes in 50g packaging which is easy to carry around, so that I could reapply anywhere anytime.
