KidZania Kuala
Lumpur successfully launched a mini Tourism Malaysia Tourist Information Center
(TIC) in an auspicious morning last month.
The launch was
officiated by representative from Tourism and Culture Malaysia and Susanah
Abdul Rani, Governor of Kidzania Kuala Lumpur and Singapore with a ribbon
cutting ceremony at the KidZania theathe.
Working together
with Tourism Malaysia as a smart Partner, this mini Tourism Malaysia Tourist
Information Center (TIC) aims to instil the interest of travelling in children,
particularly domestic travel. It is also meant to grow the interest amongst
children in planning family vacations to domestic destinations and most
importantly, to educate the importance of the tourism industry to children at
an early age. Children would also be excited after their role-playing
experience and will be sharing their experience, and destinations in Malaysia
that they have learnt to their family and friends.
The concept of
the Tourism Malaysia (TIC) revolves around kids being in an environment similar
to an actual Tourism Malaysia TIC, with activities such as creating tour
packages and tour itineraries. Kids will be exposed to local destinations and
learn to create detailed planned holiday travels. Activities such as these
would assist participating kids in developing and organizing their strategic
and creative thinking skills.
Named the ‘Best
Experience for kids’ in Expatriate Lifestyle’s Best of Malaysia Awards 2014 for
the second consecutive year running, KidZania Kuala Lumpur continuously look at
opportunities to expose children to new experiences and endless smart partnerships.
