Raya Celebration with Traditional Malaysian Favourite Lontong

Have you balik kampong in this holy month of Hari Raya Aidilfitri? I remember while I was young, my Muslim neighbor invited us to their open houses and treated us many yummilicious traditional Malay delicacies, one of it is Lontong.

As a popular traditional Malay dish, Lontong is soupy, gravy and yummy. What I like about Lontong is its special taste, and it taste spicy mildly unlike curry that was so spicy and I hardly eat.

Since we moved to a new house 10 years ago, we have not have chances to taste our neighbor’s Lontong anymore. When I discovered the new Mamee Chef Lontong, I quickly gave it a try and it did bring back nostalgic memories.

In conjunction with this, Mamee Chef had organised a movie premiere of ‘Suamiku Jatuh Dari Langit’ where Nora acts as typical village girl who is the daughter of a strict village chief. The movie was about her love story and how she found her true love in the romantic comedy film. We all had enjoyed the comedy movie at GSC Sunway Pyramid with some of the casts.
