Review: Dr.Jart+ Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm

Ever since I start working, I seldom go out with bare face. However, I feel that applying foundation everyday is a bit harsh to my skin and it clogs my pores badly. Thanks to the invention of BB cream, I am using it almost every day now because it does not clog my pores and it has the benefits of skincare plus makeup. As we know most of the BB Cream comes with sun protection and gives us the natural finishes.

As a BB cream lover, I’m sure most of you have heard of Dr.Jart+ before. In fact, Dr.Jart+ is known as the BB expert brand in Worldwide. I have tried and amazed with their BB Cushion before, and I am happy to try their newly introduced prestige BB Cream - Dr.Jart+ Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm recently.

Dr.Jart+ Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm is a multi-function sunscreen, which provide Broad spectrum SPF30/PA+++ sun protection. Thanks to its Complex pore care formula, it has a creamy texture that covers pores with one touch.

As you can see from the picture below, it covers my large pores, pigment, and redness completely. My skin looks more even and fair after application. It gives me the flawless coverage and silky smooth Photoshop finish just like a foundation does. Plus my skin doesn’t feel heavy nor greasy at all.

No doubt it is giving me 5 stars coverage. It provides soft application with high coverage to cover blemishes, pores and fine wrinkles.

It contains the ingredients to control sebum and minimize pores below;

Herbal complex of peppermint, apple mint, rosemary, chamomile, lavender, jasmine, ylang-ylang, and hibiscus that control sebum, tighten pore, soothing skin.

Argatensyl which is extracted from Argan oil to tighten pores.

Rose fruit extract to tightening and diminishing pores.

Nordenau water from the ‘magical’ Nordenau springs in Germany for skin rejuvenating and moisturising.

How to use Dr.Jart+ Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm?

Apply adequate amount on the entire face after skincare and spread evenly with soft patting.

A little goes a long way, I normally use only pea size for my whole face and neck. I like that my fresh look last for hours, though I have to touch up after 4 to 5 hours.

It was a warm and sparkly night to remember at Sungei Wang Plaza this Mid-Autumn Eve with all the colourful lanterns around the entire mall. The signature event of Sungei Wang Plaza this Mid-Autumn Festival - “Sungei Wang Plaza Thousand Lanterns Parade” was a big success.

With the auspicious wish of “A Thousand Lanterns, A Thousand Blessings” to all valued shoppers this festive season, more than thousand participants, be it tourists or the local community, joined this meaningful “reunion” and it was definitely a good platform to promote Malaysian Chinese culture and also at the same time, to promote racial harmony through this celebration.

More than 500 Magnum lanterns were given-away before the event commenced for shoppers to join in the meaningful parade. The event was broadcasted live by MELODY FM Radio Station and the crowd was entertained by the special appearances of MELODY FM announcers Wan Wai Fun and Dragon Loong.

The Lantern Parade was flagged off by YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia. The parade began from the Sungei Wang Plaza Main Entrance, circulating Sungei Wang Plaza together with the attractive performances by Lion & Dragon Dance troupe.

Hi my lovely readers, sorry for being offline for the past 3 days as I was extremely busy with many works  and bringing my lovely kids out before the school is re-opening on Tuesday. (Yeah Malaysia government has declared a school holiday on Monday, 28 Sep as the HAZE is really bad here).

2)      Choo Mei Sze – Blogger, Emcees, TV personalities, entrepreneur, Mei Sze is a talented young lady who has survived from Colon Cancer when she was only 27. Having gone through the most challenging period, mostly mentally and psychologically, she celebrates life everyday. Bravo Mei Sze, you are an amazing strong lady that I’ve ever met.

3)      Paula Malai Ali Othman - a television personality from Brunei. Formerly a veejay for Channel V, she is now a presenter for Fox Sports Asia.

This allows Kojic Acid to control the action of Tyrosinase, thus preventing melanin production. Kojic Acid is found to be effective in controlling and lightening the four main types of pigmentation I mentioned earlier,” he continued.
