Beauty Picnic with innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Line

Hi my lovely readers, in a blink of an eye we have reached the last quarter of year 2015, how time flies! And hey, since it’s the starting of a brand new month, I thought I must share something exciting with you here. My favourite Korean Natural brand – innisfree has launched the Jeju Sparkling Mineral Line in September 2015. We could have Spa at home every day now with Jeju Sparkling Mineral Line just like we are at Jeju Island, Korea.

I was honoured to be invited to their beautiful indoor picnic blogger event held at Organica Lifestyle in Bangsar not long ago. Ogranica Lifestyle was turned to a beautiful garden with the effort of innisfree team. It was such a nature and relaxing place to boost up our energy in the early morning.

While waiting for the event to started, everyone was busy taking pictures with the beautiful decorations. I love that everything is nicely arranged and personalized with our name, thank you so much for making us feeling like a VIP.

We started the beauty picnic with a light breathing exercise outdoor led by Shantini Iyngkaran, the founder of Organica Lifestyle.

Then we went back into the workshop area whereby Mr Johnny Nam, innisfree Brand Manager gave his brief welcome speech. Then followed by Ms Purple Yap, innisfree Assistant Training Manager guided us through step by step of our mini facial using innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral line.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral line is a new daily deep hydration skincare range that use carbonic hot spring water (also known as Sparkling Mineral Water) from Jeju Sanbangsan Mountain as the main element. This beauty selection is crafted to make our skin clear and moist from within while giving us an everyday hot spring spa-like sensation. It provides us with 16 types of benefits from 3 types of high-concentration carbonic acid to 13 types of hot spring minerals which convey active ingredients to the skin.

Let’s start the journey by going through step-by-step;

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder (30g | RM 8)

This Jeju Sparkling Mineral Powder pack comes in 2 packets, blue and white. It helps to revitalize and refresh the skin with the easy-to-use carbonic acid powder. It has the fizzy bubbles providing skin a sparkling massage effect and relaxing spa at home.

Each of us was given a bowl of water. First, add the sachet 1 (blue sachet powder) and wait till it dissolves then add the sachet 2 (white sachet) and stir the water to make fizzy bubbles. Soak face into the water for about 2 to 3 minutes then rinsed off with lukewarm water.

I could felt the bubbling and tingling sensation during my soak. My face turned to red after soaking it and the trainer said this is good sign for blood circulation. My skin felt really fresh, awake and clean after pad dry with a towel.

Tips you can use it as bubble bath as well. Just dissolve 5 packs into the bath tub will do.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Skin (200ml | RM79.90)

This is a deep hydration toner loaded with 88% sparkling mineral water for skin boosting effect. The ethanol-free toner is penetrated fast into the skin to smoothen the skin texture and to enhance the absorption of skincare products in the following steps. Soak a cotton pad in the skin toner after cleansing the face and gently wipe all over the face. You could also use your hands to apply over the face.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence (70g | RM110)

The Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence contains 73.6% sparkling mineral water. Just like the spa therqapy does, it delivers 5-in-1 intensive moisturizing effect, improve skin texture, balance uneven skin tone, keep skin firm and strengthens skin barriers and promote blood circulation.

Soothe the skin with toner, pump out an adequate amount (3cm in diameter) and apply over the face.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Lotion (160ml | RM79)

This iskin-fitting lotion texture softens the skin, while the macademia nut oil helps prevent loss of moisture from skin and keeping it hydrated without feeling tight. This is ideal for oily and combination type for its light texture.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Cream (50ml | RM110)

The innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Cream is infused with 69.9% sparkling mineral water, it’s the lightweight translucent fluid texture absorbs fast into the skin to form double moisture. It’s non oily or sticky something like sleeping pack. Ideal for dry skin, it builds a protective film to strenghthen the moisture barrier on skin.

Either you choose the lotion or cream, youjust need to apply adequate amount over the face and neck after skin toner and essence.

innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Mist (80ml | RM52)

I love face mist for its handy to keeps our skin hydrated anytime anywhere! innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Mist is an instant hydration that contains 90% sparkling mineral water. This is handy it keeps our skin. Contained coconut oil extract that helps retain moisture on skin without having the oily feeling.

Just spray to the skin 3 to 4 times when it feels dry at 20cm away from the skin.

We also tried the innisfree’s star product - The Green Tea Seed Serum (80ml | RM90).

With a water-like texture, the serum boasts a 5 times better moisturizing power after use and increases moisture content inside the skin up to 66% while decreasing trhe amount of dead skin cells by 76%. The water like texture serum has won multi-award reputation as Korea Women’s most beloved moisurising serum.

Once our skin is pampered and prep, it’s time for makeup. We tried the innisfree makeup products including the multi-function Long Wearing Cushion SPF 50+/PA+++ (15g | RM 80). Available in 5 shades, It acts as makeup base, foundation, UV protection and concealer.

Now the skincare workshop was completed, it’s time to fill our stomach with nutritious and yummy food!

We DIY our own fresh salad in a jar. Thank you for sharing and let me know that its actually really easy to DIY salad at home.

Then we learnt how to DIY healthy sparkling juice which is infused with lemon, cranberry and mint. This is extremely great especially for a hazy weather now, we could quench our thirst with sparkling juice anytime anywhere.
