[Fashion] Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 @ Menara MATRADE

Malaysian’s social media platforms is flooded with Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 these few days, it is a 4 day event happening from 4^th Nov to 7^th Nov 2015 and is held at Menara MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks to the Official Fashion Social Network & Official Media Partner for Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 - Clozette & Glam Asia, I have attended the spectacular Ready to wear show which showcased the great designs from Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and Indonesia designers.

Emma Rachman (Singapore)

Emma Rachman’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, GAIA, is a Tie dye inspired collection depicting the persona of the Greek Mother Goddess; creator and giver of birth to the Earth.

Shanell Harun (Malaysia)

I like her feminine designs a lot. Using a lot of chiffon, it gives both men and women a soft image.

Jihnoy (Korea)

I find Jihnoy’s design is really wearable even on normal days; her design is sleek and chic.

Maurraclothes (Indonesia)

Maurraclothes’ men collection is simple and neutral color, a good RTW collection for the men.

Zenchi (Singapore)

The collection is edgy and stylish, they can be worn in different ways too. Every piece in his collection is an art. I especially love the shoes that he had choose for the models to wear.

Yuna Yun for MDIS (Singapore)

I like her Korean costume inspired collection a lot. The pastel colors is absolutely to die for.

It was my first time visiting MATRADE. The place is under construction so do aspect a lot of trucks and lorries on the road. Visitors have to park their car at the open car park rate which was charged RM 5 per entry.

Enter the East wing, you will see the lifts that bring you to level 3, which is the exact venue of the fashion show. The show that I attended started 45 minutes later than the mentioned time; I guess that’s common for events in Malaysia. Overall, I like Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 because I felt that it was organized and most importantly they prepared enough seats for us. I still remembered I had to stand for hours at Stylo Fashion Show few months ago and I wouldn’t want to repeat the same bad experience again.
