I have not attended a skincare workshop for quite some time,
partly due to busy schedules and also there was lesser workshops nowadays compared
with few years ago. Thanks to Murad Malaysia, I recently attended their “See
your sun damage” workshop at Empire Hotel Subang, which I truly enjoyed and have
learnt more about sun damage through it.
We were welcome by Murad Malaysia’s Marketing manager, Tin Yen and then the
experienced trainer, Chion has explained each and every detail about sun
damage, plus tips to avoid it.
If you don’t know yet, Murad is founded by Dr. Murad in USA. With
25 years of innovation, they have discovered the “MuraSol ” which is advanced
suncare technology. MuraSol is now included in all Murad products
with SPF (day moisturizers and sunscreens). Upon application, the
liposomes penetrate deep within the skin’s surface where they release MuraSol’s
proprietary cocktail of free-radical-fighting ingredients. These antioxidants
lie and wait for any UV rays that get through the active sunscreen filters on
the skin’s surface. As soon as a free radical is formed, it is diffused by
MuraSol antioxidants.
So
while we recognize that we will never be able to block 100% of the sun’s rays,
we can protect the skin from the damaging free radicals those rays that do
reach the skin produce. As part of the third step of the Murad three-step skin
care regimen, Step Three: Hydrate | Protect, Murad sun protection products
include broad spectrum UVA and UVB
coverage which is why they have both SPF and PA protection rating. Start
using Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel, Essential-C Eye Cream, Advanced Active
Radiance Serum, Essential-C Day Moisture and Invisiblur Perfecting Shield to
protect our skin from the harmful UV rays.
There was a Fun Q&A session to win amazing prizes of
Murad products. At the end of the workshop, a lovely lady volunteered to try out and demo the brand new UV
camera.
Murad Malaysia has provided complimentary skin analysis in
the workshop, you could also try it out at all of their outlets to know more
about your skin.
After the 2 hours workshop, we all proceeded to the
yummilicious buffet lunch in the hotel.
All of the attendees went back with Murad’s goodie bag and
umbrella. Thank you Murad Malaysia for the wonderful opportunity and the tips
on how to taking cares our skin.
