My Blissful Facial Experience @ Mandara Spa, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

I love pampering myself with spa and facial because it is one of the best ways to release stress. There are a lot of spa centers in town but to name the good ones, there are only a few, one of it is the Mandara Spa.

With over 70 Mandara Spas in all corners of the World, it is no doubt a renowned Spa that provides quality spa experience. It is originated from Bali, where the healing arts are passed down from generation to generation, from mother to daughter; from father to son. Mandara Spa was founded upon this peaceful Balinese ritual. They began their spa journey with a simple desire to pass this healing knowledge on to all guests seeking solace and relaxation.

I visited Mandara Spa at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa on a blissful evening after work. Parking inside the 5-star Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa was easy and convenient. To go to the Mandara Spa, I took the lift from Hotel lobby to Level 5 and walked through a tranquility pathway. I reached the spa reception after around 3 minutes’ walk and pass by the beautiful Villas and spectacular view of Sunway Lagoon.

The Mandara Spa Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa embraces a contemporary Asian ambiance and features two spacious double spa suites complete with en-suite sunken bath and steam-shower room, five single therapy suites, three of which includes single spa suites with en-suite steam-shower room. It also boasts a reception area, a retail gallery, manicure and pedicure pavilion, relaxation pavilions and a large scenic-verandah which frame a picturesque view of the resort’s shimmering lagoon and lush greenery.

I was greeted by warm smiles by the lovely ladies once I entered the Spa. I was served hot ginger tea and ice towel before they led me to my treatment Room name Orchid. I was in love with the interior of Mandara Spa Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa because it is relaxing and calm, absolutely tranquility.

Since it was my first time visiting Mandara Spa Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, hence I opted for their signature Elemis Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Facial which is an anti-wrinkles facial with proven result.

I was given a batik to change before the treatment. Elemis Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Facial began with an aromatherapy oil foot cleanse and massage. Then, the therapist cleansed and toned my skin, and followed with shoulder and neck massage. She moved on to my face and neck again by massaging with lifting technique. Then she scrubs my face with a gentle exfoliator, follow by serum and mask. Whilst the mask was on I had a great scalp massage. Then she applied the second mask and she massages my hands and arms while waiting. The treatment ended with the application of moisturizer and eye cream.

The products used including Pro-collagen cleansing balm, Pro-collagen Quartz lifting mask, Pro-collagen Hydra-gel eye mask, Pro-collagen Quartz lift serum and Pro-collagen Marine Cream ultra-rich that contains marine extracts, red coral and precious minerals which helps the skin cells re-energised and regenerated resulting in a firmer, uplifted, more youthful looking appearance.

I love the treatment a lot! Not only did the therapist have great technique and firm yet strong massage pressure, the result was superb too. My skin is more firm, glowing naturally and flawless! I am amazed with the result and I did not even need to put on makeups for the following week to look good and feel good.

Furthermore, I love the environment a lot because I could hear natural rain drops, bird chirping and Balinese music during the treatments. It made me truly relax and enjoy the ritual.

I would definitely like to splurge myself at Mandara Spa Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa again soon. I highly recommend you to it, you wouldn’t regret I promise.
