Set to sail in a nautical setting from 18th April to 15th May 2016, ‘A Voyage of Style & Beauty’ at IOI City Mall has awed shoppers with its first back-to-back runway fashion shows over the weekend and continues to deliver a rewarding experience amidst the vibrancy befitting the seasons of spring and summer!
Runway Fashion Showcases the Latest Spring / Summer Trends across the Sea Waves.
‘A Voyage of Style & Beauty’ Preview Show was held on 1st May 2016 afternoon to officially launch the fashionable campaign in the spectacular backdrop of a cruise ship which was specially built to sail shoppers across the fashionable waves and to serve as the main runway for models.
Shoppers were exclusively invited to preview the unique collections from 11 stylish participating brands, followed by back-to-back runway fashion showcases from Bata, Dr. Cardin Signature, Focus Point, Hush Puppies, Kent, MOG Eyewear, Suitable, TOPGIRL, Valentino Rudy, Via Condotti and Young Hearts on 1st and 2nd May 2016 respectively. This event was also proudly supported by Cyber Colors as the official makeup partner and A-Saloon as the official hairdo partner.
Along with the participating fashion labels, Linton University College (The KTG Education Group) and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology had taken the runway stage to the next level by flaunting their students’ creative collections with pride in the evening on both days, respectively. Famed for its multi-national mix of students and cultural diversity, students from Limkokwing even entertained and impressed the audience with their catchy dancing moves and singing talents.
Additionally, Amber Chia Academy (ACA) hosted its sixth annual graduation show on 29th April 2016 in the same nautical backdrop. The glamourous evening was witnessed by many famous faces, top models and celebrities, including the honourable Dato’ Jimmy Choo.
