‘Wake up With Zespri®’ Campaign Takes Off with Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest @ Desa Parkcity

We woke up earlier than usual to participate the first ever Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest in Malaysia last Sunday morning.  Held at Desa ParkCity, Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest is a public event with no entry fee charged with Fruit, Drinks and Fun for the whole family!

We reached there at around 8.45am and we were amazed with the huge turn outs! Everyone was in queue patiently to check-in because the first 1500 attendees who brought along the kiwifest leaflet available in each Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit punnet sold at major grocery centres from 19 to 29 May, are the proud owners of a limited edition BPA-Free Zespri Water bottle.

Once we checked-in, we were given an activity book each to complete the fun activities and redeem limited edition Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest badges.

My girl enjoyed herself at LeelaPass - a children enrichment centre, who conducted 15-minute blocks of mass participation physical activities including ball games, fun interactive ‘full body’ rock, paper, scissors game, arts and craft and finger painting. The first 500 little Zespri fans including my girl who have joined the games had also receive a limited edition Zespri Kiwifruit World tee by renowned London illustrator and artist, Harry Malt. 

Other fun activities include a Smoothie Bike – ride the bike to blend your own kiwifruit smoothies, Community Colouring Wall, Giant Twister and Kiwi Dartboard, feel-good freestyle music by DJ Irama, dynamic positive tunes by GTXperiment. For the active ones, they could play Zorb balls for free at Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest too.

We also joined the crowd and lined up to redeem the complimentary LifeJuice kiwifruit juices, and kiwi inspired breakfast.

Besides this, public also enjoyed the Zespri yoga with Jojo Struys, the celebrity emcee, TV host and health enthusiast. 

The air was full of excitement when Cassey Ho from Blogilates, the Number 1 female Youtube Channel with more than 3 million subscribers showed up! The crowd was so exciting to follow her through her special 45 minutes POP Pilates workout session! POP pilates brings out together upbeat music and dance for one-of-a-kind Pilates “dance on the mat” experience.

The Wake Up With Zespri campaign incorporates an overall consumer outreach programme through nationwide sampling exercises in the stores and outdoor, a special tie-up with selected The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlets offering consumers a free Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit with every purchase of a breakfast set from 23rd May – 29th May.
