Lancôme Juicy Shaker – A Fun and Delicious Pigmented Lip Oil

This July, let’s have fun with Lancôme Juicy Shaker. We had attended the sensational vibrant launch of Lancôme Juicy Shaker at Zouk Kuala Lumpur not long ago. 

We were honored to be the first few that witness the reveal of Lancôme Juicy Shaker. It was love at first sight as I was attracted by its cute petite packaging. Opened up the bottle, I can smell the delicious scent and the soft spongy applicator is easy to dap over my lips.

In fact, the brand new Juicy Shaker is a lip gloss that comes with amazing scent and gives us natural colour payoff. Its bi-phase technology delivers the first pigmented lip oil with two distinct phases.

The first phase features a transparent oil for a comfortable, non-sticky shine. Formulated with a blend of five nourishing oils, it treats our lips like a lip balm. Peach kernel oil, a well-known emollient, softens lips while sweet almond oil conditions, apricot oil hydrates, and cranberry oil provides rich antioxidant properties. Muscat rose oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids, helps to soothe our lips. The second phase provides pigment for a touch of color.

It is so fun to use! Just shake the bottle like a cocktail shaker up to five times to emulsify the pigment and oil together, and then tap the cushion applicator onto lips for a tint of color with sheer finish. The cushion applicator enhances application by delivering the perfect amount of non-sticky shine and a sheer tint of color to lips.

I love the sheer color payoff but if you opt for a more pigmented look, you could build a base using lip liner or matte lipstick then tap on Juicy Shaker, and for a plumped lip look, tap onto the corners of the Cupid’s bow on the upper lip.

Lancôme suggested us to follow the steps below to create our signature Parisian lip cocktail:

-Apply L’Absolu Rouge Definition Matte Lipstick in Le Magenta to build your lip cocktail base.

-Add a ‘shot’ of flavor and non-sticky shine to your cocktail by tapping on Juicy Shaker in Berry In Love. 

I’ve got my “Wonder Melon” shade that come with amazing melon smell, the pigmentation is sheer and it leaves a hint of color even after it dries out. It does not dry out my lips and in fact, my lips feel soft and smooth for the whole day. I am already thinking to buy more and my next to-buy shade would be Berry in Love.
