Tasty Creamy Cheesecake from Cat & The Fiddle

I am a dessert lover, and when given a choice among many cakes, I would always choose cheesecake. In fact, cheesecake is also my husband and my girls’ great loves. However, it’s hard to find a tasty creamy cheesecake in Malaysia but I am glad I found one - The Cat & The Fiddle Cheesecake. Originated from Singapore, Cat & The Fiddle is the first online specialist cheesecake store in Singapore that is specially created by Singapore’s iconic dessert chef, Daniel Tay.

Inside these brown boxes are some of the most delightful cheesecakes I have ever had the pleasure of trying. It's Cheesecakes by Cat & The Fiddle. Using only imported cream cheese and premium ingredients, Cat & The Fiddle’s cheesecakes are rich in flavours, tasty, creamy and melted in mouth.

Last Saturday, we had a cheesecakes affair where we have tried the 6 flavours of Cat & The Fiddle available in Malaysia below at HOPP Café;

1.       Over the Moon (New York Cheesecake | RM 99)

A classic New York continental cheesecake with rich cream cheese and vanilla beans, the cheesecake itself was simple and stood on its own. This cheesecake is everything you would expect from a phenomenal New York-style cheesecake: it’s creamy, tangy and melt-in-your-mouth fantastic.

2.       Queen of Hearts (Strawberry Cheesecake | RM 99)

An all-time favourite, strawberry cheesecake swirled with sweet and velvety strawberries. With a taste of sweet and sour from strawberries and cream cheese, this a classic pairing will never go wrong.

3.       The Modern Duke’s Pudding (Oreo Cheesecake | RM 99)

Smooth and creamy cheesecake with crunchy bits of oreo cookie crumble, it’s the best Oreo cheesecake in existence, The Modern Duke’s Pudding is a fail-proof pairing of rich cheese and dark chocolate. The smooth, creamy cheesecake interspersed with crunchy flecks of Oreo cookies provides the palate with textural excitement, while the tempered sweetness of the overall dessert keeps it far from cloying. A timeless treat that for all ages!

4.       The Russian Whiskers (Mango Cheesecake | RM 99)

Decorated all around with curls of shaved white chocolate for an elegant touch, the Russian Whiskers is the crowning glory in mango cakes. Beneath the vivid yellow mango glaze is an airy cream cheese mixed with mango puree for a burst of tropical flair, while nestled within are a pleasant surprise: mango-infused biscuits. So refreshing that it’ll leave you hankering for more!

5.       Naughty and Nice (Chocolate Cheesecake | RM119.00) NEW flavor launched on 23 Sep 2016

Non-Baked Chocolate cheesecake: A devilishly sinful chocolate cheesecake layered with rich premium couverture chocolate mousse, topped off with pillows of fluffy sponge, the cake was moist and filling.

6.       King Cat of the Mountain (Musang King Durian Cheesecake | RM139.00) NEW flavor launched on 23 Sep 2016

Non-Baked Musang King Durian cheesecake: Creamy Musang King cheesecake arresting facade crowned with cubes of soft sponge with its dreamy innards of durian sponge cake and durian-studded cream cheese and soft sponges dusted with Cocoa powder. The King Cat of the Mountain is truly a sublime, so yummy and we can't have enough of it!

Overall, the cheesecakes from Cat & The Fiddle’s are the perfect balance of great taste and full flavor that you will surely enjoy every bite. Cat & The Fiddle’s cheesecakes contains No added artificial flavouring and preservatives, hence it’s best to consume within 2 to 3 days. It’s best to store in chill freezer, and thaw before consume.
