Having been to Taiwan for a few times, I love the hotpot there. Taiwainese hotpot is simply flavourful and tasty. Good news to the people in KL, we can now enjoy the 1st Authentic Taiwanese Imperial "served-to-table" hotpot buffet at Chunciou Hot Pot, Old Klang Road now too. Yay!

We can’t resist to visit Chunciou Hot Pot once we heard that it has opened. In fact, Chunciou Hot Pot is here to serve us the best from Taiwan. It has an elegant and heroic dining atmosphere with abundant Chinese historic elements. Not only that, there are Premium choices, multiple signature sauces and desserts at our selection with Top notch quality and service with Taiwan style and standards.
Their special Featured Soup Base include Sukiyaki Soup, Lakesalt Soup, Tonkatsu Soup, Spicy Soup, Herbal Soup and Tomyam Soup. No matter what soup base you love, you will find the one that suit you at Chunciou Hot Pot.

Choose from their Specially Selected Meats include Australian Striploin, Australian Ribeyes, Lamb Shoulder Roll, Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, Chicken Fillet, Duck Roll. The Best part is, all of them are refillable.

Diners could opt for side Dishes too, including udon noodles, dongfen, Spinach noodles, Beancurd skin, toufu puff, Fried bread stick, Braised pork rice.


Back to the highlights, the Steamboat ingredient include Wasabi ball, Hot sesame bun, Taro fish ball, Sincere Ball, curry fish ball, Cheese fish toufu, Chesse Prawn Ball, Premium Prawn Ball, Red Heart Ball, Mushroom fish ball, Premium cuttlefish ball, Pork Tendon ball, fish and Squid mixture, Ham ball, White Fish ball, Abalone slice, Special Tofu, Tamago, and handmade meat ball.
Not only that, there are wide selections of Sauces including Green Onion, Garlic, Chilli, Thai Chill Sauce, Fruit Sauce, Satay Paste, Soy Sauce, parsley, Sesame Sauce and bean curd. Here to share with you the 4 steps to customize your golden egg yolk sukiyaki sauce which is the signature sauce: Mix Sesame sauce for sweet taste, egg yolk for smoother the sauce, and chopped shallot for adding more layers to the taste, lastly add in shichimi for a spicier taste.

This sauce can enhance the texture and juiciness of the meat while making the temperature just nice to stimulate your taste buds. The sauce adds juiciness to the fresh-cooked meat, while bringing down that hot pot heat, we simply can’t have enough of this secret sauce, so yummy and tasty.

For Vegetables lovers, you could also pick Carrot, white carrot, abalone mushroom, golden mushroom, mushroom, Cabbage, Pumpkin, tomota, Chinese Yam, sweet potato, Chieh Gua, chinese fungus, bok choy, yau mak, and Eggplant here.

  6. I don't particularly like hotpot style of dining because I am lazy to cook my own food. Nevertheless, as I have not been to Taiwan yet, I am so curious about their cuisine. May just drop by here one of these days!
