On the second day of New Year 2017, I would like to share with you a new skincare brand available in TNS Skin Lab Malaysia - Dr. Lewinn's. Well, in fact Dr. Lewinn's is a brand with heritage from Australia. It is a leading Australian anti-ageing brand for more than 25 years now, and dounded on formulas by Dr. Laurence LeWinn, a plastic surgeon to “Hollywood Stars”. Its Original selling model was direct to consumer via infomercial format.

I was glad to be given 2 of the Dr. Lewinn's products to try, courtesy of TNS Skin Lab. It was my first encounter to this brand, and I loved its simple and sleek white packaging at first sight.

The first product I tried was DR. LEWINN'S ESSENTIALS 4-FUSION CLEANSING OIL  (200ML | RM126.14)

Dr. Lewinn’s essentials 4 fusion cleansing oil is a luxurious, cleansing oil that melts away all traces of make-up and impurities, leaving skin supple andsoft. Formulated with a unique fusion of botanical essences such as Rosehip Oil, to Encourages regeneration and deeply hydrates; Tamanu Oil, that help firm and boost elasticity; Argan Oil, which Nourishes and protects; Baobab Oil, which is Rich in Vitamin A, C, D, E & F and Omega 3, 6 & 9.

With the beautiful blend of the Rosehip & Argan Oils, Dr. Lewinn’s essentials 4 fusion cleansing oil cleans the skin while also replenishing and restores Skin Radiance.

Dr. Lewinn’s essentials 4 fusion cleansing oil is suitable for all skin types, and it is easy to use.

Directions:

Pump a small amount on dry hands. Gently massage in circular movements and spread onto dry face. Add a few drops ofwater onto face and emulsify. Rinse off with water. For optimum results, follow with preferred toner and moisturiser.

Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, POE (20) Glyceryl Triisostearate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate(Vit. E), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Rosa Canina (Rose Hips) Fruit Oil, Calophyllum Inophyllum (Tamanu) Seed Oil,Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Fragrance, Backhousia Citridora (Lemon Myrtle) Oil.

Verdict: We love the lovely scent of Dr. Lewinn’s essentials 4 fusion cleansing oil. It cleanses our skin efficiently, and it removes layers of makeup including full coverage foundation, concealer, powder and heavy eye makeup easily. However it will not turns milky as quick as the famous brand ‘S’ cleansing oil.

After cleansing the face, it’s time to tone my skin with DR. LEWINN'S ESSENTIALS PURIFYING TONER (200ML | RM115.54)

Dr. Lewinn’s essentials purifying toner is an alcohol-free, aloe-based toner that removes residue makeup and oils and assists in refining pores, leaving skinsoft, smooth and refreshed. Contains Glycolic Acid, it helps minimises Pores & Excess Oil.

Recommended for combination skin.

Directions:

Morning and night, apply to thoroughly cleansed face and neck using a cotton pad. Pay special attention to the T-zone area. Pat dry.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Glycolic Acid, RetinylPalmitate (Vit. A), Parfum (Benzoyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Limonene, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool), CI 16035.

Verdict: Having combination skin, we love Dr. Lewinn’s essentials purifying toner that gives us a fresh and soft skin after using it. Moreover, it has a lovely subtle fragrance and contains lots of soothing skin ingredients like aloe vera to calm, balance and hydrate delicate facial skin. Our skin feels lovely without any dry nor sting feel.
