So I have finally made
my first visit to Sunway Velocity last month end, all thanks to the lovely
invitation to the Beauty DIY Workshop at The Touch. Located at The Commune, Level
5, Sunway Velocity, The Touch is an all new Concept studio-academy-salon-retailer
in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. With a 1500 sq feet premise, it is created to
mesmerize clients with a total beauty experience, and to deliver the best image
makeover experience.
The Touch, Commune at Sunway Velocity
It is also organizing some
beauty workshop from time to time. I was fortunate to get to attend their first
Beauty DIY Workshop, which was all about making our own Organic Coffee Scrub. As
a Coffee lover, how could I resist the lovely invitation?
The workshop was instructed
by Jun Yoo, the man behind ‘areum.beau’ brand, which provides handcrafted
artisanal personal care products using high quality ingredients.

Using Coffee ground as
a base, we added essential oils, granulated brown sugar, Himalayan pink salt, Virgin
Coconut Oil step by step and tada….. own DIY Organic Coffee Scrub is done! Its very
easy even for a failed Science student like me. You all should join this
workshop too as it is fun, easy and interesting.
The Organic Coffee
Scrub smells so divine, and is so gentle to use on my skin. I have falling in
love with it and am already planning to redo it once it’s finished.
After the workshop, we
had enjoyed delicious coffee and cake at Sevencups, which is just opposite The
Touch. Sevencups is no stranger to coffee lovers in Klang Valley, I am so glad
that it has expand its business to Commune at Sunway Velocity. Now we can enjoy
good coffee, artisanal desserts and sandwiches after we done our shopping.
We also got home a
bottle of healthy cold-pressed fruit juice from JuicyFit (formerly known as
Juicy Raw Oasis). JuicyFit promises no preservatives, no concentrates, no sweeteners,
and no artificial ingredients in its product, which gives individual specific
health nutrients as needed.
