My family loves Dim sum, a traditional Chinese
cuisine prepared as small bite-sized portions which is tasty and easy to eat. We
are happy to find out that Dynasty Restaurant which is located at Renaissance Kuala
Lumpur Hotel has converted into a pork-free restaurant recently. Guests would
be delighted to discover innovative and exciting flavors creatively put
together by Award-winning Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin.
A wide selection of authentic and delectable
Cantonese delicacies are available from the A La Carte Menu and a complete
range of delicious Dim Sum to please every palate. Let’s look into some of the
items you could get from Dynasty Restaurant, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel.
3 Fried Dim Sum
Pan Seared Shanghai Dumplings – We love the huge
amount of filling in Pan Seared Shanghai Dumplings. It taste crispy outside and
juicy inside.
Golden Yam Puff – My favourite dish of all,
the Golden Yam Puff is so pretty with golden brown crispy skin, and tasty meat
filling inside.
Crispy Prawn Toast with Sesame – A delicate Prawn
Toast with a crisp base and flavourful sesame.
3 Steamed Dim Sum
Prawn Wonton with Chili Vinaigrette – The Prawn
Wonton is so fresh and juicy inside.
Green Dragon Chive Dumplings – A very popular
dumplings for the Chinese, especially for those who love Chive’s taste.
Minced Chicken Dumplings topped with Dried
Scallops – In Chinese, we call this ‘Siu Mai’, which is a must order whenever
it comes to Dim Sum. It is my whole family’s favourite of all.
Deep Fried Oyster – Chef Kok Chee Kin has
selected the fresh oyster to deep fried until crunchy outside and juicy inside.
Simply irresistable for oyster lover.
Barbecued Chicken with Glazed Honey Sauce – A dish
for the whole family, from young to adult.
Baked Cod Portugese Style - For those with a
penchant for local flavors, do check out the Baked cod Portuguese style
prepared with indigenous ingredients or the Casserole of beef with vermicelli
in satay sauce for a classic Malaysian taste and the Stir fried venison with
greens in hot sauce for a peppery aftertaste.
Sweetened Mango Puree with Sago and Pomelo – We
love this dessert as it taste not too sweet and really refreshing with the sago
and pomelo. One is definitely not enough for us.
There are many more highly recommended dishes
available at Dynasty Restaurant, including Wok fried scallops with lily bulbs,
asparagus & macademia nuts, deep fried prawns with salted egg yolk sauce,
sea treasure broth with fresh scallops in coconuts and many more.
