The Butterfly Project Malaysia x 1028 Visual Therapy

I came across the Taiwanese makeup brand - 1028 Visual Therapy when my friends attended it's launch in Malaysia a few months back. Since then, I was curious about the brand and then I noticed that The Butterfly Project Malaysia has in collaboration with 1028 Visual Therapy to let the butterflies to try out the products.

As a beauty junkie, how would I miss out this chances right? I quickly applied it and I was thankful that I was one of the chosen one to try out the 1028 Visual Therapy, thanks to The Butterfly Project Malaysia.

Before sharing with you my views on the 1028 Visual Therapy's products, let me share with you some background of 1028 Visual Therapy. Wondering why 1028? It is indeed an inspiring date of the brand itself to discovering various beautiful face of every girl. 1028 Visual Therapy is design especially for Asian skin and contour. They hope that every girls could find their confident self back by 1028 visual therapy. 1028 visual therapy cosmetics products contain Treatment skincare essence infused and is tailored for Asian skin and features.

It sounds really good to me as an Asian female. So without further ado, here I am sharing with you my dessert inspired makeup using 1028 Visual Therapy's macaron palette and other products.

First, I have apply the 1028 Unseen Mesh Compact SPF30 PA++ (10g for RM 99.90) all over my skin. Made in Korea, the 1028 Unseen Mesh Compact has a balm-to-liquid texture that gives me a good coverage for a day. Eventhough the covereage is strong, my skin still feel moist thanks to the Vitamin B3, Niacinamide and Raffinose ingredients that provide deep hydration while fortifying the skin barrier to prevent moisture loss from skin.

[Review] Mogador Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil

I was attracted to Mogador Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil's packaging while I first saw it on my friend's post. Hence when I was offered a chance to try it out, I quickly grabbed the chance.

Mogador Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil is pack in a very pretty royal blue paper box. Inside the box, you will find the oil in an amber glass dropper bottle. In fact, the amber-colored glass shelters photosensitive compounds from light damage hence the products will keep fresh inside. Moreover, the dropper cap comes with a beautiful yellow tassel, definitely a win for beautiful packaging.

Now, how about the Argan Oil itslef? Contains only Pure Argan Oil, Mogador Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil smells natural, and absorbed quickly. It can be used on face, body or hair. I normally massage it onto my hair after shampoo, while it's still damp. I like how it nourished my hair without flatten effect. For the remaining oil on my hand, I would massage gently and it penetrate into my skin quickly.

I like that Mogador Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil is so lightweight yet so nourishing. A bottle of 30ml is selling at RM 119.

Thanks to a lovely invitation, we had visited MOVIDA Kitchen + Terrace Puchong for a cosy dinner a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, we did not put much expectation at first, however the dinner has changed our mind towards the food serves at MOVIDA Kitchen + Terrace.

[Review] G9Skin White In Whipping Cream

What is your skincare regime? For us, we are still in love with K-beauty as it is fun, innovative and full of surprises.

Just recently, we have discovered the G9Skin brand from South Korea, which is available in Malaysia now too. After we had fun playing with their First lipsticks (you could read our previous post here) we are now having fun time with their skincare product - White In Whipping Cream.

G9Skin White In Whipping Cream comes in a very cute soft pink white packaging. It looks like a milk pack but inside the paper box it is actually a tub of (50g) G9Skin White In Whipping Cream .

According to the brand, the G9Skin White In Whipping Cream could let one create natural, fair and flawless skin like Korean girls.

Let's see how was our experience with it. Opened up the box and tub, the cream look white hence we thought it's like a normal whitening cream. But hey, in fact the texture is very unique. It has a whipping cream type texture at first, but when you massage it onto your skin, the cream will turns to watery and gives you the instant tone up effect.

I am a sandwich lover as they are easy to eat, convenient and healthy. From fresh salads, home made breads and ingredient of your choice, Sandwich Express has it all for you.

Are you sick of brand 'S' sandwiches? I have found another great alternative month ago. Sandwich Express was founded in Ipoh, and it has expended it's business to KL recently.

We have paid a visit to Sandwich Express at Sunway Pyramid as introduced by a friend. While we reached the kiosk, the lady staff handed us some flyer which looks pretty interesting.

There are 4 choices of sandwiches available at Sandwich Express KL. Classic one for RM 7.50, Favourite for RM 8.90, Special for RM 9.90 and Premium for RM 10.90.

We have ordered the club sandwich and beef salad sandwich to try out. First of all, their bread is really huge and fresh. We love our big sandwich that is filled with cheesey cheese, fresh vegetables, tasty meats and delicious sauces. We thought we could share the sandwich with our bestie as a small eater.

If you have been to any property roadshows, you will notice there's always handsome salesman and sexy saleswoman to attract the buyers. Then, they start to throw the promotions, packages, rebates and many more 'kang tao' to in fluent you to buy the property.

OK it was quite attractive in most of the ways but hey, wouldn't it be very 'sien' already for seeing all this scenarios all over the property sales area?

We have visited La Bodega to try out their special 2 dishes created with U.S fries. There is Hope for Treating Eczema

Eczema has become more and more common in our society. When I first gave birth to my elder daughter, eczema was not the norm. But a few years later when I gave birth to my younger daughter, I have heard a lot of my friends’ kids suffering from eczema. Unfortunately, my younger daughter is also suffering from eczema since she was born.

When the weather is hot and humid, her skin turned to red and rashes easily. The red patches are normally very itchy and she couldn’t stop scratching her skin hence worsen the situation. Over the years,I have done a lot of study online and went for workshops to seek advice from the expert.

Last month, I had participated the workshop conducted by Eau Thermale Avène (Malaysia) with the theme of ‘Hope for Eczema’ held at Boulevard Hotel Mid Valley, thanks to the sponsored by Eau Thermale Avène Malaysia. Cheesey US Potato Poutine with Cheese Fondue

If you do not know yet, Poutine is a dish of French fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. Born from rural Canada, Poutine consists of three main ingredients: fries, brown gravy, and cheese curds. I know it sounds simple, look simple, but the devil is in the details.

Chef Pele has fired the US Potato fries to crispy outside, soft inside. He put a great amount of soft and slightly melted cheese curds and pour his special brown sauces onto it. The Cheesey US Potato Poutine with Cheese Fondue has a nice crunch and an excellent creamy cheesy interiors, simply fanstastic!
