It was a lively Sunday on the last Sunday of June 2018 for a bunch of bloggers last week. I was honoured to be invited to the bloggers day out with all my blogging buddies at Melawati Mall, Setapak. I have always wanted to explore more about Melawati Mall and I was grateful that my chance has arrived.

Melawati Mall is located at Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). You can definitely spot the mall along the MRR2 highway. The mall is big with many car park bays. We visited 27 retails outlets from 11am to 8pm at Melawati Mall that day. Scroll down to see where have we been that day.

1. San Francisco – Loving the bright and huge San Francisco store at Melawati Mall. It is full of natural lights, making it a nice place to hang out with friends and family. Tried their club sandwiches and ice blended drink, they taste good.

2. US Polo – They are having some promotions at the store.

3. Wah Chan – A new concept Wah Chan store, that displays their signature jewelry at the beautiful display wardrobe. We just wish to own every pieces of jewelry there.

Asia’s First Museum of Illusions Finds a Home in the Heart of Kuala Lumpur

I have always wanted to visit the Museum of Illusions with my family because it looks fun and innovative. Good news! The world’s fastest growing museum chain has officially opened Asia’s very first Museum of Illusions, right here in Malaysia. The museum boasts the largest single collection of optical illusions in all of Asia and is set to tantalize visitors to a visual and sensory experience that transcends generations.

The Perfect Stout Deserves a Perfect Pour

Excitement was at its peak as GUINNESS, Malaysia’s favourite stout, announced the winners of its Perfect Pour contest on 21 June 2018. Over the past month, trainers from the HEINEKEN Malaysia Star Academy have travelled the length and breadth of the country, teaching hundreds of bartenders the methods to pouring a great pint of GUINNESS.

GUINNESS Malaysia, in conjunction with The HEINEKEN Malaysia Star Academy, served bars across the country on the fully equipped GUINNESS bar-in-a-bus. The mechanics and angles behind the “perfect pour”, a unique two-part pour method, were demonstrated to bartenders and fans. The glass is first filled up to three-quarters full, after which the ‘surge’ is allowed to settle before being topped up. GUINNESS consumers across the region got to experience the fully equipped bar-in-a-bus and learned how to execute the “perfect pour”. This year, fans got involved in the search as they rated bartenders on a unique coaster provided at participating locations. Two lucky consumers were rewarded for their parts in the process and will join the four winners on this money-can’t-buy tour to the home of Guinness in Dublin, Ireland.

From the hundreds who have undergone the training, a total of 8 bartenders have been shortlisted to be finalists in this year’s competition. These finalists faced stiff competition and met stringent criteria to be awarded the recognition of the “perfect pour”.

I used it like any other cleansing oil: Pump 2 to 3 pumps of the oil and gently massage into skin then mix with a few drops of water to emulsify. Rinse with water or use a face cloth if desired. Use daily or as often as required.

A Fun Day at Kiddomo Universe - The Future Playland @ The Starling Mall, PJ

Calling all parents and children, there’s a fun playland for you to explore together this School holiday. We recently paid a visit to Kiddomo Universe and had a really fun day there. Kiddomo Universe is the future playland that offers innovative educational playland where your child can excite all their senses and exercise their creative imagination in a brand new way.

Located at the third floor of The Starling Mall, you would not miss the bright wooden theme playland entrance. The tickets price is quite reasonable especially for Kiddomo VIP members. Once you purchased the tickets, you will be given an electronic wristbands as tickets. You need to wear it to scan your wristbands at the games.

Then, we proceeded to the shoe racks corner to keep our shoes or bags there. Just like any play land, visitors have to put their socks on for hygiene purpose.

The day we visited was a Sunday, and there were a Birthday party on going hence it was quite crowded. First thing first before proceed to the games, we have to create our own identity by photo-shoot our profile picture and selects the dream role we wanted. This identity would be used for all the games during the visit.

Now, once we got our identity created, we proceeded to other fun and interactive games. Every kids are excited to go into the giant ball pit to look for dino eggs. The ball pit is quite deep and the kids have to find and bring the dino eggs to a special egg scanner, press the giant buttons that light up in order to find out what dinosaur have you found.
