Farmers Market @ The Waterfront, Desa Park City

I love to visit farmers market when I studied in the UK back then. It was a place of many hidden gems with affordable price. I have bought so many things there and I still kept some of them with me.
Now, I am happy to find out that farmers market is also available in Kuala Lumpur! Happening at the neighbourhood near me, the Farmers Market is available on every first Sunday morning of the month at The Waterfront, Desa Park City.
We decided to visit it on the first Sunday morning of September. Seen there were 30 stalls selling greens, fruits, plants, handmade and homemade items. One can easily find the best local fresh produce, vegetables, baked goods, handmade crafts, fashion, and many more at the farmers market.
Watch this short video for the highlights of the Farmers Market @ The Waterfront, Desa Park City.

We like that the fresh organic vegetables and fruits from local or overseas are selling at reasonable price here.

We have discovered some talented bakery at the Farmers market at Desa Park City. The bread, cupcakes, cakes, and many more do not only attracted the kids but the adult like me too.
My girl loves the hot and yummy eggettes we bought her at the farmers market.
We were attracted by the unique side tables which are custom built in Malaysia with natural & solid wood slabs. We will definitely buy one or two for our new home from ArtisTree Malaysia.
The handmade crafts are not only beautiful but also very creative. From the unique ant art, to handmade rattan accessories and beautiful handmade crafts by UmieAktif.
Shoppers not only can buy their favourite handmade stuff here but can also supporting the less fortunate people by doing so. You are helping the less fortunate mothers and children of Chow Kit by buying the products from UmieAktif as all the funds will be chanelling back to them.
For more information on UmieAktif, visit their facebook page.
There are also trendy fashion and accessories booths at the Farmers market. From the trendy blouse, dress, skirt to Korean style girls' garments, there are many selections for us.

You can see many pets enjoying themselves at the pets friendly farmers market too. There are many dog's food and accessories at the pets market for the owner to choose and buy.
Aren't these pet's collars cute?

Isn't Kendrick adorable?

The organiser has also held some activities like free workshops on Terrariums and planting your own herbs for the shoppers to enjoy.
As a gesture of thank you, shoppers can get one free plant to first 100 customers who spend min RM50 at any stall. I like the free plant which is environmental friendly and good to have at the home.

We have spent two hours to shop and eat there. It was indeed a relaxing and enjoyable family day with my loved ones at the Farmers Market. I am already marking my calendar for the next Farmers Market at The Waterfront, Desa Park City on 7 October 2018.
