As a beauty blogger and a mother of 2 girls, I am honoured to be invited to a luxurious spa retreat at The Ritz-Carlton KL last weekend, courtesy of Guardian Malaysia with the aim of giving recognition to the special role that women play in the well-being of the family, in conjunction with International Women’s Day! I felt thankful to be able to indulge a pampering Balinese Massage at Spa Village in this 5-Star hotel with my blogger friends.
We had a welcome drink and cold towel upon arrival at the Spa. Not long later, I was led to the bright, spacious, clean and neat treatment room. The room comes with a changing room, washroom and outdoor shower & bathtub! Such a heaven and I felt in love immediately with this intimate spa located in the heart of KL.
The masseur introduced me the 3 massage oil and let me chose one, I have chosen the ginger oil that is good to help relieve aches and pain, as well as promote normal blood circulation. The Balinese massage ritual offers techniques which vary in tempo of acupressure, rolling motions, long strokes and percussion, providing an invigorating and energising experience for the body. Choose to enjoy this massage with or without using oil.
I like how the masseur massage my body, and she will check if everything is OK, or needed extra pressure on and off.
The treatment finished with a bamboo stick tapping over my back. My body, mind and soul is totally rejuvenated after the Balinese Massage at Spa Village. Now, I wish to get more spa treatments like this! So, let's go shopping and get our entry forms at all Guardian stores and online from 1 March 2019 onwards.
