DKSH Spreads Fun with Skippy On The World Sandwich Day 2019

Do you know that today, 3rd November 2019 is World Sandwich Day? I personally believed that the best way to pay ode to the occasion is by DIY sandwiches and eating it! Sandwiches are simple in the sense that the only rule you truly have to follow to make a sandwich is that you need to put something in between two slices of bread. But great sandwiches constitute more than just an ordinary PB&J (peanut butter and jelly). Great sandwiches balance protein, dairy, vegetables, sauces and bread into a perfect food item.
Thanks to DKSH Business Unit Consumer Goods, the leading Market Expansion Services provider for Fast Moving Consumer Goods in Asia, and DIY Bites Studio for organizing a fun and fantastic sandwich making session with SKIPPY® Peanut butter at Setia City Mall earlier today.
Invited media and guests got to learn from the nine-year-old culinary prodigy Chef Leah Choy as well as the experienced Chef Jie Low. With inspirational recipes specially created by the culinary experts at Skippy and DIY Bites Studio, we were treated to a hands-on experience on how to transform an everyday sandwich into a gourmet dish by incorporating the delicious and smooth taste of Skippy peanut butter. It was so fun to make our own sandwiches.

We were treated to a lunch menu inspired by SKIPPY® Peanut butter. From salad, chicken to apple crumble, the protein-packed SKIPPY® Peanut butter infused lunch was indeed delicious and healthy one.
Once our tummy was full, it's time for making our own dessert. We followed Chef Leah Choy's instructions and created our very own chocolate rice crispy cake top with SKIPPY® Peanut butter. I simply love the SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs that is easy for us to squeeze out the peanut butter for beautiful topping. I brought home the dessert for my daughters and they love it very much.
In fact, SKIPPY® Peanut butter could be used to make many other food, from main to sweet peanut soup and even ice cream!
