It’s a Fun Day at UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019

If you have been following me on my social media account, you would have known that I had a great time at UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019 held on the lovely Sunday, 24th November 2019.

It was my first time joining UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition. I can’t contain my excitement and I depart early morning from KL to Perodua Sendayan Seremban that day.

As a lady driver for more than 20 years, I have been driving Perodua car for years. I have upgraded my car from the very cute and petite MyVi to the bigger Aruz early this year. As a mother of 2 lovely girls, I have to ensure the safety and reliability of the car that I drive and fetch my family. I am a happy Perodua owner and I was delighted to join the UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019 as a member of UFIRST Perodua Passport.

In fact, UFIRST Perodua Passport is Perodua loyalty program to appreciate and award Perodua’s loyal customers. Introduced on 17th August 2015, the app is free for download at app store and play store. As a member of UFIRST Perodua Passport, I truly enjoy my happy experience with the app because it offers E-appointment, communication tools, Perodua Outlets locator, and rewards and redemption in one click.

UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019 is the latest Perodua ground event aim to focus for ladies participation and engagement. This exclusive event was participated by various ladies driver of Aruz, MyVi, Axia and Bezza. All the UFIRST Perodua Passport Ladies participants had a fun and informative day at the event.

The event started with a welcome note by En Mohd Farizal Abu Hasan Saari (Branch Manager Perodua Seremban) and En Mohd Muzafar Jaafar (Service Manager Perodua Seremban).

Then, we had an insightful knowledge sharing session by Pn. Rozaidah Sutires @ Oja, DGM, Product Strategy. From the common causes of accidents and how to drive safely, we have indeed learnt a tips of two from Oja.

Next, we proceed to the basic car maintenance practical and demo by Cikgu Raj and his staff. We learnt how to check the engine oil level, car battery life, tyre inflation tips and many more from the 30 minutes session.

We then proceeded to on-board Perodua Aruz to test the Perodua's Advanced Safety Assist 2.0 (ASA 2.0) car safety feature. ASA 2.0 consists of the component of Pre-collision Warning (PCW), Pre-collision Braking (PCB), Front Departure Alert (FDA) and Pedal Misoperation Control (PMC), all working with the assistance of a forward-facing stereo camera. To try the ASA 2.0, Oja has pedal the car to around 80km/h and ignoring the PCW’s audio visual warning, the Pre-collision Braking takes over by automatically braking the car. I like the safety and intelligent ASA 2.0 that prevent the car from collision automatically. I am glad that my new Perodua Aruz has this elevated safety features to ensure the safety on the road.

After taking the group picture at PSSB Seremban, we departed to X-Park Sendayan for the rest of the afternoon. Upon arrival, we registered ourselves and choose the pampering activities offered to us before enjoying our scrumptious buffet lunch there.

Each of us were given a UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019 Games Journey Card for us to follow the sequence and complete the fun activities. The challenging games from GoKart, ATV, Archery, Paintball target shoot started after lunch.

While taking the challenging games, we can also opt to go for pampering activities from manicure, massage, henna, face painting and enjoy free flow lunch/tea on the entire afternoon. I like this concept as it is free and easy, plus very convenient for the participants.

Perodua has also setup the GearUp merchandise booth to display and offer redemption with great promotion. I personally love the Perodua hat I saw there.

All the games cut-off by 4pm and we submitted the card back to Perodua team for points calculation. Then we had an informative Nutritionist session to learn how to have a healthy, balanced diet to lead a healthy lifestyle for women. After-all, we women have different nutritional needs to men.

Now comes the most exciting part of the day - the announcement of the winners and prize giving ceremony. Congratulations to the social media contest winners, and the top 5 participants of UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019. They have each won a fantastic prize from Perodua, bravo!

The event ended with a high note of cake cutting and eating ceremony. Thanks to the nice arrangement of Perodua, we ladies had an enjoyable and intimate ladies day out at UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition 2019. It was a day filled with knowledge, joy & happiness and also hard work. It proves that when ladies gather, extraordinary things can happen.

I can’t wait to join the next UFIRST Day Out Ladies Edition already.
