KidZania Kuala Lumpur Kicks Off 8th Anniversary in “City of Infinite Possibilities”

To all the kids out there, it’s time for infinite fun and madness! Celebrating its 8th anniversary this year, award-winning indoor family centre, KidZania Kuala Lumpur is committed to making the city a place of infinite possibilities, one that will inspire and challenge children to dream big.
Happy 8th Birthday to KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

The enthusiastic ‘zupervisors’ of KidZania Kuala Lumpur made sure the children and their families had oodles of fun with an exciting selection of infinite-themed activities, edutaining workshops, entertaining performances and parade, where the children got to discover their potential and dreams to the fullest.
Four main activities and three workshops were featured around various establishments within the city, exclusively for visitors on 29th Feb 2020. The main activities include a Tealive Infinity Cups Challenge and Nips Straw Challenge by Kodomo Lion to improve the children’s movement and accuracy. Both activities are a form of sensory play to develop and improve their gross and fine motor skills.
Meanwhile, kids had the opportunity to join the Colouring Contest activity run by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), and participate in the Infinity Bracelet Race where kids won prizes by making bracelets in an infinity shape.
My girls took the opportunity to participate the special activities, and my elder one won the grand prize of Colouring Contest activity! Thanks Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) for the amazing hamper.
The infinity shape also featured in the three workshops. The Infinity Tuna Wrap workshop by Mission Foods saw the the kids making infinity-shaped wraps while Faber-Castell’s Infinity Colouring Party workshop enabled kids to use their creativity in colouring their own version of the infinity symbol. Last but not least, the DIY Infinity Mask workshop resulted in creative infinity-shaped masks.
During the event, Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur said, “It’s been eight year since we were established. Since then we’ve seen increased visitors year on year, making us a much sought-after family destination in the country. We have also been certified as a co-curricular partner with the Ministry of Education and worked with numerous industry partners and collaborators over the years, for only one goal – to ultimately equip children with an understanding of the real world while empowering them with a variety of development skills, from creativity, financial literacy, critical thinking and the ability to dream and dream big!

“Most children have dreams of what they want to be when they grow up. It is so important to promote that positivity in encouraging kids to chase after the path they dream of. We always desire to motivate the children to dream big! At KidZania, we advocate the ‘Learn Life Today’ approach by offering real-life job experiences in different industries to develop important life skills and values. We are committed to help the kids broaden their horizons, recognising and identifying the path or things they are good at. We hope to turn every child’s dream into reality at KidZania,” concluded Shahrul.
My kids certainly had a fun time at the City of Infinite Possibilities - KidZania Kuala Lumpur. Thanks for being so awesome for the kids to learn life while playing.

Moving forward, KidZania Kuala Lumpur aims to regularly roll out new activities and continuously collaborate with more partners in creating additional career opportunities for the children to experience first-hand.
