Jaya One Unveils its Brand New Entrance with the Relaunch of P2

A brand new entrance which boasts a stylish outlook has opened at The School by Jaya One’s Level P2, along with the opening of anchor tenant AEON BiG; health and beauty chain Guardian; and other F&B brands including Tiger Sugar, Famous Amos, Sangkaya, and Fulleaf. The brand new entrance opening indicates the transformation of a wholesome experience that caters to the needs of the neighborhood around Section 13.

After 7 long months of renovation, AEON BiG – featuring a 41,527 sqft space – is ready to serve the Jaya One community with its vibrant merchandise mix, joining the ranks of other anchors including Celebrity Fitness, BUMP Bouldering, and MR DIY within The School as the mall enriches its offerings to attract shoppers.

Jointly initiated by Jaya One and AEON BiG, the hypermarket is a revolutionary concept that includes its sister company, AEON’s assortments and food offerings such as the La Boheme Bakery, C’est La Vie Japan, Korea, and Taiwan-imported products, Ready To Eat delights and sushi selections – making it the first ‘hybrid’ AEON BiG in Malaysia. The AEON BiG in Jaya One also offers 80% fresher seafood which includes ocean-fresh fish directly imported from Norway, as well as fresh-cut vegetables and fruits – aiming to create a unique AEON BiG experience like never before.
Aligning to the new normal post-MCO, AEON BiG also widens its offerings with new initiatives such as drive-thru counters and personal shoppers to pick and purchase groceries for customers – all designed to infuse more experiential moments into the shopping experience at Jaya One.

Along with AEON BiG’s opening, the retail landscape at The School’s is revitalized with a few other brands including Malaysia’s leading health, beauty, and personal care chain Guardian; famous Taiwanese bubble tea brand, Tiger Sugar; coconut ice cream Sangkaya; Malaysia's leading cookies and hot-baked store Famous Amos; local farm-to-table tea store Fulleaf at Level P2; as well as premium accessories, toys, and apparel retail for baby and children FLYBYFLY at Level P1. These new offerings further reinforce The School’s focus on shaping a community-friendly hub for leisure and purpose.

Following the prominent reactivation of P2, BUMP Boudering – situated at The School’s Level 1 – will also expand its bouldering gym facilities with an extra 5,964 sqft to provide for the sprouting popularity of the sports of as well as to keep things fresh for regular climbers. The expansion promises to give the gym the flexibility of area to cater for more routes, more designs, and more space to scale for beginners to seasoned climbers. In addition to meeting the soaring demand, BUMP Bouldering’s extension increases Jaya One’s entertainment elements to strengthen the shopping mall’s presence of being a community center that promotes healthy learning and enrichment.
