According to General Manager of Rohto Mentholatum (M) Sdn Bhd, Lim Mei Yuen, the VR roadshow concept was developed not only to reduce human contact but also to make online shopping a fun experience.
“This innovative approach offers our customers an experience they miss having, especially with the endless lockdowns and also to limit the time spent outdoors. It is made fun and interactive thereby making shopping from home more exciting,” said Lim. The VR roadshow features various interactive sections which are both fun and enjoyable. Visitors will first be directed to the main lobby when they enter the virtual roadshow. The lobby provides visitors with a navigation guide on where they can head to next, and also information on the coolest promotion of the month. Once visitors enter the Interactive Zone, that is where the fun begins! Visitors can get their skin analysis done to determine the right product for their skin, watch short videos on how to use the respective skincare products, learn beauty tips and even play games to win prizes.
Navigating into the Shopping Zone will reveal Hada Labo’s best sellers which are organised by range on specific shelves. If one is not familiar and need more information, a virtual beauty advisor is at hand by simply clicking on an icon. More information on the product is also available by clicking on the specific product to help visitors make an informed decision before making a purchase.
