The Year of the Tiger – The Year We ROAR Together with Tiger Beer

The year 2022 is remarkably special for Tiger Beer given the once every 12 years occurrence of the Year of the Tiger. To uncage the festive cheer for fans around the world, Tiger Beer has partnered with Son Heung-Min, a football icon from South Korea, in conjunction with the Lunar New Year celebrations to ignite a global movement and encourage fans to set aside their fears and achieve their boldest ambitions in 2022.
By dreaming big and never giving up, Son overcame challenges by uncaging his inner Tiger with his courage and determination to become a football star. Now, Son is declaring that for The Year of the Tiger, he is inspired to go after his boldest ambition yet – to win a major trophy for his country. Son, the official Tiger Brand Ambassador, has shared a series of emojis on his Instagram expressing his targets for the year and has incited fans to share their own bold goals too. All fans have to do is respond to the “My Year, My Goals” Instagram “Add Yours” story sticker feature, created by Tiger Beer with their own ambitions for the Year of the Tiger.

While fans across the world rally with Son to express their own ambitions and inspirations for the Year of the Tiger, Tiger Beer Malaysia too launched its local Chinese New Year (CNY) campaign - The Year We ROAR Together - on a grand scale, today. Aimed to encourage fans to go all out to pursue their dreams and goals, the CNY campaign is all about giving a voice to Malaysians to uncage their inner tigers - whether they're born in the Year of the Tiger or not.

Reclaim Life’s Small Pleasures with Sensodyne Repair and Protect Deep Repair

I have sensitive tooth, hence sweet foods, cold foods and hot drinks can unexpectedly trigger a jolt of pain fast on me. It always affects me to enjoy my favourite food and drink. I have been looking for a treatment to relieve it in order to be able to enjoy my food and drink.
I was glad that I joined the FB live on Sensodyne Malaysia’s Facebook page recently. There, I found out that I am not alone. In fact, 7 out of 10 Malaysians are actually suffering from tooth sensitivity, just like me! Sensitivity is about cautiousness around the food and drinks that we enjoy. Some people have an intense sensitivity which makes them compromise on everyday food and drinks in fear that it could trigger short and sharp sensation on the teeth. Something as little as enjoying a cup of teh tarik, a piece of orange, or an ice-cold boba tea, or even biting into a freezing cold ice cream might turn into an unpleasant experience, causing them to miss out on small pleasures in life.
As adults, we should know that tooth sensitivity is better for early management. We should prioritise oral health with simple self-care practises in the comfort of home with Sensodyne. According to Dr. Norul Husna (Periodontist), tooth sensitivity develops over time from enamel wear or receding gums.
Lucky for us, Sensodyne, the No.1 Sensitive Toothpaste brand*, has launched #ReclaimLifeSmallPleasures Campaign in Malaysia early January 2022 to introduce its new Repair and Protect Deep Repair, a toothpaste for those with tooth sensitivity so that they can reclaim life’s small pleasures without worrying about tooth sensitivity. This way, Malaysians can take control of our oral care and reclaim our life’s small pleasures.

Tae Hoon Kim, Regional Commercial & E-Commerce Director, DFI Retail Group, South East Asia, Health and Beauty, launching the new app in Kuala Lumpur said today: “We continued to expand our physical stores, over the last two years, because we know consumers still want to visit our stores when there is one near them. At the same time, we also sped up our digital transformation journey growing our e-commerce channels, as we recognize its growing acceptance among consumers and businesses.
The Guardian app you see today is a key milestone in Guardian’s digital transformation to keep pace with technologically savvy consumers such as yourself. It is also our way of fully embracing the unprecedented changes that swept through the industry in the last two years,” he added.
Kim said: “We take great pride in unveiling this technologically developed app and at this point of our transformation journey, because we believe the retail environment is truly ready for an app such as Guardian’s.
