I always buy Taiwanese Pineapple Tarts whenever I travel to Taiwan. In fact, there are many more variant and delicious Taiwan Delights available. Good news to us, we can taste them all for Free at the Taiwan Food Tour Pop-Up Shop happening at 1Utama Shopping Centre from 26 Oct to 30 Oct 2022.

Taiwan has always been famous for its teas, pineapple tarts, boba milk tea, and this event is the perfect opportunity to discover the next big hit. Suria KLCC Brings Mental Health to The Forefront in #YouMatter Campaign

Mental health has always been an issue that’s in dire need of attention. This was true long before COVID-19 struck Malaysia, and it continues to remain prevalent even as we recover in the endemic phase. One of the biggest obstacles to addressing mental health in this country is the stigma surrounding it.
In conjunction with World Mental Health Month in October, Suria KLCC together with The Body Shop invites the public to be part of the change in de-stigmatising mental health problems in their month-long campaign. The campaign with the tagline #YouMatter starts from 11 October 2022 until 10 November 2022.

Following the success of last year’s mental health awareness campaign, Suria KLCC will once again be joining hands with the Green Ribbon Group, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that champions a community approach to mental health. Also in collaboration for this year’s campaign is MIASA (Mental Illness Awareness & Support Association).

My friend who stays at Taman OUG Parklane has introduced me to a healthy steamfood restaurant located in his neighborhood recently. In fact, Hani Steamfood Restaurant at Jalan Puchong is no stranger to people staying nearby Jalan Puchong. It is a Chinese restaurant that serves steamed food, and seafood with reasonable seasonal price. It is strategically located just opposite OUG Parklane.
Hani Steamfood Restaurant Jalan Puchong is a standalone two storey building with ample of FREE Car Park located on the ground floor. Diners can park their cars at ground floor and walk up or take the lift to the upper floor to reach the restaurant. It is really convenient for diners as we do not need to worry about parking here.
Once you entered Hani Steamfood Restaurant, you will be greeted by the friendly workers here. You can choose to sit at the open area section or the VIP room section which is equipped with air condition. We highly recommend everyone to book the VIP room (minimum spending required) because you get to enjoy the food with your loved ones in the private room and sing karaoke too!

UNIQLO Launches New Roger Federer Model DRY-EX Replica Game Wear and “RF” Cap

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announces the launch of new Roger Federer replica game wear and “RF” cap models developed together with its Global Brand Ambassador. This latest game wear, originally designed for Roger Federer to wear at his next tournament, comprises a polo shirt and shorts, with polo shirts also available in kids’ sizes. Caps featuring the “RF” logo are available in two colors to match the game wear. Items will be available at select UNIQLO stores and through the uniqlo.com online store, starting Monday, October 10.
This chic game wear has a base color of black with purple accents. Subtle line details across the chest and on the short pants bring out the purple color. 200 "Oh Bear Go!" Cycling and Rail Themed Travel Taiwan Advertising Vehicles Hit the Road Awarded the Malaysia Book of Records

Listen up, travel buddies! Taiwan prepares to fully open its borders on 13 October 2022! In conjunction with this, Taiwan Tourism Bureau Kuala Lumpur Office launches "Oh Bear Go!" Cycling and Rail themed Travel Taiwan advertising vehicles in Malaysia on 6 Oct 2022. 200 "Oh Bear Go!" themed advertising vehicles will travel through the streets of Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor, displaying beautiful scenery of Taiwan and hoping to evoke good memories of people traveling to Taiwan.
2022 "Oh Bear Go!" Cycling and Rail themed Travel Taiwan advertising vehicle launching ceremony was held at Kloe Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. On display was the brand-new Travel Taiwan advertising vehicle "Oh Bear Go!". Three theme appearances, including Nantou Sun Moon Lake Bike, Chiayi Alishan Cherry Blossom Train, and Taipei Yangmingshan Hydrangea Flower Sea, as well as a mascot Taiwan "Oh Bear Go!" riding a bicycle, will be the eye-catching highlights of the streets in Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor!
Chou Shih Pi, director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau Kuala Lumpur Office, who attended the launching ceremony, emphasized, "Taiwan has adopted ‘Cycling & Rail' as its tourism promotion theme in the past two years, so of course, bicycles and trains are matched with the beautiful scenery of Taiwan in the advertising design. Furthermore, prior to the pandemic, Taiwan used Salam Taiwan as the theme to actively promote Muslim-friendly tourism, so this advertising vehicle also included Muslim-friendly tourism elements, hoping to further attract Malaysian Muslims to travel to Taiwan.”
Taiwan continues to improve the Muslim-friendly reception environment in order to attract Muslim friends from all over the world to experience the beauty of Taiwan. Major transportation hubs and national scenic spots are equipped with Muslim-friendly service facilities. At the same time, over 200 restaurants and hotels have received relevant halal certification. According to Mastercard-Crescent Rating's "Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2022, Taiwan maintained its second-place position among the world's non-OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) destinations for providing a Muslim-friendly travel environment has made it the preferred destination for Muslim travellers travelling abroad.

Breaking Barriers to Cancer Care Columbia Asia opens its first cancer center in Bukit Rimau

The Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals proudly announces the launch of their first cancer center in Bukit Rimau. With the opening of their new center, they also unveiled their latest effort to change the cancer-care landscape in Malaysia with the launch of the Breaking Barriers initiative, a holistic approach to cancer care that addresses three major gaps relating to this disease: cancer prevention, cancer patient navigation, and support for those living with cancer.

According to the World Health Organization, 48,639 new cancer cases were recorded in Malaysia in 2020. The 2012 - 2016 Malaysia National Cancer Registry Report showed an 11% increase in new cancer cases and 30% more deaths from cancer when compared to the 2007-2011 report.1 This upward trend reveals a greater need for more access to quality cancer care. With the launch of its cancer center, Columbia Asia aims to address the three major cancer-related gaps, and increase cancer care access for all Malaysians.

The cancer center offers cancer screening & diagnostics, individualized treatment options, post-treatment care, a cancer rehabilitation program, palliative care, dietary consultation, multi-disciplinary specialty care, pain management, home care, patient group support, and clinical trials.

The center has been furnished with the equipment and a collaborative team of experts comprising consultants and oncologists who are supported by a radiotherapy team, a chemotherapy unit, a patient experience team, procedure specialists, oncology nurses, and a dietician.

The radiotherapy unit is equipped with the most recent addition of a sophisticated linear accelerator machine, the Elekta Versa HD. This machine can deliver precise treatment to even the smallest tumors in previously untreatable areas, sparing the surrounding healthy tissues, thus reducing side effects.
