UNIQLO Launches New Roger Federer Model DRY-EX Replica Game Wear and “RF” Cap

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announces the launch of new Roger Federer replica game wear and “RF” cap models developed together with its Global Brand Ambassador. This latest game wear, originally designed for Roger Federer to wear at his next tournament, comprises a polo shirt and shorts, with polo shirts also available in kids’ sizes. Caps featuring the “RF” logo are available in two colors to match the game wear. Items will be available at select UNIQLO stores and through the uniqlo.com online store, starting Monday, October 10.

This chic game wear has a base color of black with purple accents. Subtle line details across the chest and on the short pants bring out the purple color. The use of mapped meshing for the polo shirt in quick-drying DRY-EX material ensures optimal breathability and comfort during times of heavy perspiration. Matching caps are available in black and white with a purple RF logo.

Roger Federer commented: “I may no longer be playing for ranking points on the tour, but my passion for the game will never cease. Although I wasn’t able to showcase this collection before my retirement, I am excited to continue working with the team at UNIQLO to create great tennis wear for all my fans and to showcase the different looks during future endeavors and appearances.”

DRY-EX made from recycled polyester: One of the sustainability initiatives at UNIQLO is the development of DRY-EX products made of polyester fibers recycled from PET bottles, first launched in 2020. This unique material was made possible through partnership with Toray Industries, one of the world’s top fiber and materials innovation companies. New filtering technologies to remove impurities in recycled PET bottles allows for the production of high-quality specialty fibers. The new material retains the moisture-wicking functionality of DRY-EX, while providing a level of comfort that allows players to perform at their best.
