A Sporting Way of Life Collection From UNIQLO & JW ANDERSON

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is launching A Sporting Way of Life collection from UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON on April 7 2023. The Spring/Summer 2023 range continues to reinterpret quintessential British style through JW ANDERSON’s elegant and playful lens, taking inspiration from the traditional sports of British universities.

Designer Jonathan Anderson commented that “This season reworks our idea of classic sportswear, such as a traditional cricket jumper alongside technical sports leggings or hand-drawn traditional British sporting team motifs on utility shorts and more traditional knitted polo shirts.”

Comfortable and functional preppy styling

A Sporting Way of Life redraws classic sportswear. A good example is the women’s Cricket Cardigan with athletic uniform-inspired lines, in a light cotton-linen blend that is comfortably cool, as well as the women’s and men’s AirSense Blazer, which features for the first time in the collaboration line. The collection reimagines these iconic British preppy items in the innovative lightweight, stretchy, quick-dry fabric, finished with the original JW ANDERSON logo button.

Designed to double as sportswear

Several items also double as sportswear. These include a tennis-inspired Pleated Mini Skirt in nylon, Leggings and Cropped Bra Tank Tops in the soft, quick-drying AIRism fabric, and a Color Block Parka in lightweight nylon, with JW ANDERSON offbeat color blocking.
