GUARDIAN’S FUN RUN is BACK!! Bigger and better than ever!

Are you looking to sign up for something that’s equal parts fun, physical and purposeful in 2023? You’d do well to put your name down for Guardian Fun Run 2023Guardian Malaysia’s exciting, fun-filled, and family-oriented Fun Run is back for its second edition and looks set to be another runaway success.
Angela Teo, Head of Marketing, Guardian Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd said: “The Fun Run this year promises to be an even bigger and better event than the Run we organised last year. Last year’s Run was an eye opener for us when MAEPS was turned into a SEA of GUARDIAN ORANGE T-Shirts with runners of all ages.
“We learnt how exercising, and running especially was so popular, not only with serious runners but also with families who want to be healthy and this popularity cuts across all generations.

“The Guardian Fun Run last year was special because it encouraged families to come and run including many children, mothers, and fathers and even grandparents. The sight of them running together to keep healthy makes us even more proud about holding this event and this is why we are holding it again this year.

“Indeed, our Live Smart & Healthy campaign in May and the Guardian Fun Run is a demonstration of our commitment to help our customers live smart and healthy.
“For our Live Smart & Healthy campaign, we have introduced many new health products into our stores based on what our customer needs are, current trends and the best health products available,” Teo added.

The Guardian Fun Run is open to runners of all levels of fitness, so whether you are an avid runner, or a novice, this is a great opportunity to exercise in a fun and supportive environment.

As the name suggests, the Guardian Fun Run, will be a fun-filled event catering for everyone in the family, children included as it promises scenic routes, carnival-like atmosphere, games, on-stage entertainment, health and beauty products sampling and a variety of food trucks.

“In addition, there will be Lucky Draw Prizes worth RM10,000 to be won by physical runners, featuring RM2,500 worth of shopping vouchers for a year as the Grand Prize and a Best Costume Contest. Come dressed in your most creative costume but you must incorporate the Fun Run T-shirt for a chance to win Guardian vouchers and hampers.
“To help our runners prepare for this Fun Run, we will also have a Masterclass Fitness workshop by International Trainer, Gillian Benjamin in August, details of which will be announced later.

“And to add even more fun to the event, our fun runners will be invited to join our special DanceON Exercise Routine, as a warmup before the run, on event day. This dancercise is an exercise that uses dancing to improve fitness, making exercising fun for all,” Teo said.

The Guardian Fun Run will take place on 23 September 2023 at MAEPS Serdang. There will be four categories of the Run this year.

Category 1 3KM Family Run - Kids (5 - 12 Years Old Only)
Category 2 3KM Family Run - Open (13 Years Old & Above)
Category 3 5KM Fun Run - Open (13 Years Old & Above)

The 5km Virtual Run will enable runners outside of the Klang Valley to take part.

We hope many Malaysians and their families who are health conscious will sign up for our Guardian Fun Run. Bring your families along to make this event a memorable and happy experience.
