School Holiday Fun at Megah Rise Mall, Taman Megah

School holiday season is here, I believe many parents are looking for places to take the kids for an active fun time or just to move away from their screens just like me. Hence, I brought my girl to Megah Rise Mall and had an enjoyable day there.

Located at Taman Megah Petaling Jaya, Megah Rise Mall is a community-centric mall with many restaurants and everything you’ll need under one roof. It is strategically located at Taman Mageh, with plenty of affordable basement car parks for shoppers.

On our last visit, we have explored four stores in Megah Rise Mall below:

Kheng Wah Bing Teng (Ground floor, Non-Halal & Pet-friendly)

Kheng Wah Bing Teng is a Hong Kong-inspired cha chan teng that offers a fusion of Hong Kong and Malaysian kopitiam dishes.

Kheng Wah is well-known for their array of pastries, such as the signature crispy char siew bao and many more! They have a distinctive menu of food and beverages, and we have tried some of the dishes below:

Oven baked "char siew" bun (3 pieces | RM12.90)

Baked cheesey rice with bacon & shrimp (RM22.90)

Sweet and sour porky rice with fried egg (RM16.90)

Wok fried pork chop spaghetti with soy sauce (RM16.90)

Thai Style "Petai" anchovies (RM12.90)

Steamed Lady finger with nyonya sauce (RM9.90)

Caramel milk tea (RM7.90)

Coffee (RM6.90)

Ice blended creamy red bean drink (RM8.90)

All the dishes were simply heavenly! The best part? Pet owners can cosy up alongside their furry babies at the alfresco dining areas. Kheng Wah is simply the perfect spot for family meals.

Artistic Art Studio (Level 3)

Artistic Art Studio is a place for you to express your feelings and emotion through painting with the guide of the studio artist. I girl enjoyed herself at the paiting session a lot.

They are having a 2 hours young artist session for kids aged between 6 to 17 at just RM100. Parents, come and let your kids to get creative at the studio.

Mac Dunno Hair Salon (Level 1)

We like the minimalist and clean design of Mac Dunno Hair Salon. They served the customers tea and small snacks and we felt very comfortable having our hairdo here.

The price is very reasonable too, with wash blow and cut starts from RM39 only!

Mixue Malaysia (Ground floor, HALAL)

Need no more introduction, Mixue Malaysia supplies ice-cream and tea with affordable price.

Mixue Malaysia has limited-edition menu with the festive season from time to time. Do come to check out yourselves!

Overall, Megah Rise Mall has become our favourite neighbourhood mall. Do come here with your family and friends for a fun outings in this school holiday.
