Dragonite Feast for the Year Of The Wood Dragon @ Dorsett Hartamas

With preparation for the coming Lunar New Year picking up a feverish pace, the culinary team at Dorsett Hartamas is seen busy orchestrating a feast befitting the festivity.

For the 1st time, Dorsett Hartamas presents four meticulously curated set menus. All the set menus feature dishes that are not only palatable and value-for-money; but also carries profound auspicious connotations, weaving a tapestry of good fortune and prosperity.

Looking for a reunion meal venue? A first at Table Talk for sure to start off the Year of The Dragon on a gastronomic note, Chef Lai Chan Meng or better known as Chef Meng has curated four distinct set menus with a gastronomic flourish. Available from now till 24th February 2024, one can opt for the Prosperous Beginning set menu priced at RM388 nett per set. The 8-course menu is ideal for 2 to 3 persons and includes the Dish of Prosperity.

The more the merrier as the saying goes and if you are a party of 4 to 5 persons, go for the 9-course Joyous Spring set menu which comes with a Yee Sang, seafood broth, Thai mango chicken, butter prawns, deepfried siakap with sweet and sour sauce, stirfried broccoli with sea cucumber and mushroom, Yong Chow fried rice with brined fish and a 2-course dessert. This menu is priced at RM688 nett.

For those reveling in abundance and grandeur, check out the 10-course Golden Blossom set menu. Priced at RM1188 nett per set for 6 to 8 persons, this menu includes all the auspicious dishes that’s synonym to the Lunar New Year.

The Spring Fortune set menu sets the pace for a more elaborate dining experience. Priced at RM1688 nett per table of 8 to 12 persons, the menu offers Salmon Yee Sang, Eight Treasure Soup with Abalone, Deepfried Chicken Thai style, Steamed Dragon Tiger Grouper Fish with Superior Soy Sauce, Braised Mushroom with Sea Cucumber, Abalone and Broccoli and many more lip-smacking specialties.

The traditional prosperity dish of Yee Sang is of course a must have and options are an abundance here. There’s Salmon, Jellyfish and Smoked Duck Breast Yee Sang priced at RM98 nett for ½ portion and RM178 nett for a full portion. For a refreshing and fruity experience, the Mixed Fruits Yee Sang is to go for. Priced at RM78 nett for ½ portion and RM108 nett for a full portion. All Yee Sang comes with Chef Meng’s own specialty sauce of strawberry and Ribena, elevating the experience to new heights. Available for in-dining and takeaway till 24th February 2024.
