As a parent of two young kids, we always wanted to being in the moment with our little one and spending quality time together. Since it was Mother's Day last Sunday, we decided to go for a short getaway in Kuala Lumpur and spend time exploring the wonders of our own city together over the weekend. That's how we embark on a journey on an unforgettable urban retreat at Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre is a part of Accor Group which has properties worldwide. The hotel has gone through a series of refurbishment since 2019 and fully re-opens on 2021. Hence, the hotel interior is very clean, modern and stylish.

We are happy to discover that Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre is a family-friendly hotel. They offers Suite room with interconnected Twin Room which can accomodate our family of four comfortably. We like that both of the rooms are cozy, spacious, bright and very clean. It was really comfortable to stay in.

The Suite comes with a living room and a bedroom with flat-screen TV. The bathroom is very spacious with shower and bath tub. The bar is equipped with coffee machine, mini bar and kettle.

While the interconnected Twin Room is spacious enough for two persons to stay in comfortably.

Once settled in, it's time to delve into the hotel's facilities - the swimming pool and the fitness centre. The gym is currently undergoing major facelift hence they have provided a temporary gym at the ballroom for the guests.

Don't forget to enjoy the International & local breakfast buffet spread at Food Exchange,

the all-day dining restaurant located at level 1. There is a play area for the little ones at Food Exchange too.

For socialising or refreshment, Gourmet Bar offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Guests staying on their premier floors (Level 23 to 28) or holding Accor Platinum and Diamond memberships enjoy exclusive access to Premier Lounge.

Of course, no family staycation is complete without ample opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. To carve out time for moments of tranquility amidst the urban chaos, we enjoyed our time chilling and eating at the premier lounge and ended with a family movie night in the hotel room that night.

Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre is stratigically located next to some of the best landmarks, restaurants, bars, and shopping malls. It is easily accessible with the walkway from Bukit Bintang MRT station too.

We love that all the staff members were very attentive and gracious towards our needs from our arrival to departure.

Overall, we felt really happy and welcome at Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre. It was an enjoyable stay at there. No wonder it is the best hotel in Kuala Lumpur for a city staycation! We would love to go back again for sure.
