Celebrate Merdeka & Malaysia Day with Alamanda Putrajaya and Mesra Mall Kemaman

As Malaysia commemorates its 67th year of independence, Alamanda Shopping Centre is proud to continue its tradition of celebrating Merdeka with a vibrant campaign running from 23 August to 16 September 2024. This campaign is designed to celebrate the spirit of patriotism, embracing the 2024 theme ‘Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka,’ with a variety of rewards and activities for shoppers of all ages. The momentum will continue through to the Malaysia Day celebration on 16 September, ensuring a full month of national pride and unity.

ALAMANDA SHOPPING CENTRE

Alamanda Putrajaya invites shoppers to embrace the spirit of "Jiwa Merdeka" with exciting rewards:

• Merdeka Rewards: Shoppers who spend RM500 and above in two receipts at any specialty store will be rewarded with a limited-edition 67th Merdeka T-shirt.

• High Spenders Rewards: For those who spend RM1,500 and above in two receipts, an additional RM50 Alamanda Shopping Voucher will be awarded alongside the limited-edition Merdeka T-shirt, offering an extra incentive to those celebrating with them.

• Lucky Draw: Three lucky participants in the Rewards Programme will stand a chance to win RM670 in Alamanda Shopping Vouchers, making their Merdeka experience even more memorable.

To enhance the patriotic atmosphere, Alamanda will be adorned with the Jalur Gemilang, and the first 500 shoppers on Merdeka Day will receive handheld Jalur Gemilang flags as a token of celebration, creating a sea of national pride within the mall.

Mesra Mall in Terengganu will also join the nationwide celebrations with its Merdeka Campaign, running from 26 August to 16 September 2024. Embracing the ‘Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka’ theme, the mall will feature patriotic decorations and a variety of special offers and activities, extending the spirit of Merdeka until Malaysia Day on 16 September.

• Merdeka Rewards: Shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts at any specialty store can redeem a limited-edition 67th Merdeka T-shirt, a memento that captures the essence of our nation’s independence.

• Special Activities: On 31 August 2024, Mesra Mall will host Jalur Gemilang pin badge and balloon giveaways, sharing the joy of Merdeka with the community and symbolising unity.

• VIKids Campaign: The much-loved VIKids Campaign returns from 12 to 16 September 2024, offering a series of engaging and educational activities for children. Shoppers who spend RM100 and above in one receipt at any specialty store can redeem a premium clay set. The campaign also includes various competitions, such as the Patriotic Bicycle Competition on 12 September, the Pahlawan Costume Competition on 14 September, and the Wau Colouring Competition on 15 September, with exciting prizes to be won, fostering creativity and patriotism in our young participant.
