We were honoured to witness the Grand Launch of Thousands of Years Media (ToYm) at Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX Mall last weekend.
Founded by Jment Lim, who also founded SunStrong Entertainment, ToYm is a visionary company with the aim to mark a new era in lifestyle innovation by seamlessly integrating education, fashion, and entertainment into a single, dynamic platform. Through its multifaceted approach, ToYm is committed to providing positive energy, quality, and meaningful experiences that inspire individuals to explore new creative, sustainable, and intellectual pursuits.
ToYm is built on four pillars, namely entertainment, education, technology, and marketing.
ToYm Wardrobe, the company’s fashion arm helmed by ToYm’s image consultant, Nini Wong, is making its debut with the introduction of over 80 new designs across four distinctive collections: the Ribbon and Lace Collection, Jeans Collection, Classic Collection, and Blush Pink Suits Collection. Each collection is meticulously crafted to celebrate individuality, blending timeless elegance with contemporary fashion statements.
All collected garments will be donated to the Tzu Chi Recycling Centre, supporting those in need and reinforcing the spirit of community care. Not only that, for every outfit exchanged, ToYm Wardrobe will donate RM10 to charitable causes, amplifying the impact of this sustainable initiative.
Jment Lim further expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, "Fashion should not only be about looking good, but also about doing good. With the “One of One Exchange Campaign”, we hope to inspire a shift towards more conscious consumer choices while making a tangible difference in people’s lives. This is just the beginning of our journey toward a more sustainable and inclusive fashion industry."
Empowering Minds Through Education
Beyond fashion, ToYm is expanding its influence in education by signing an official agreement with Teo Kim Foo, founder of World Mind Development Sdn Bhd as part of ToYm’s acquisition of the company. In line with this, Teo Kim Foo will spearhead ToYm’s educational initiatives which underscores the company’s commitment to lifelong learning and intellectual enrichment.
Teo Kim Foo is an accomplished memory athlete and the Chairman of Malaysia Memory Sports Organisation (MMSO), an organisation registered under the Societies Act 1966 of Malaysia and licensed by the World Memory Sports Council, an independent governing body of the Mind Sports of Memory and regulates competitions worldwide.

Entertainment as a Medium for Change
In addition to fashion and education, entertainment remains a cornerstone of ToYm’s vision. As part of the launch, attendees witnessed the premiere of Malaysia’s first Chinese-language microseries, "In Character."
"In Character" follows the emotional journey of former movie queen Chen Huihong, who retired from acting to focus on her family, but her dream of a happy life was shattered when she was betrayed by her husband, Xia Jian. Not only did Xia Jian have an affair with rising actress Zhang Meishan, but he also secretly transferred all their joint assets. Faced with this unexpected betrayal, Chen Huihong refuses to accept her fate. Instead, she courageously embarks on a journey to reclaim her dignity and expose the truth in a powerful act of revenge. The microseries feature local talents such as Jonathan Lee, Fancy Goh, WeiWei, Lisha Ho and Jorden Sen.
The microseries was officially debuted on 8 March 2025 across all ToYm social media platforms. While this is the first microseries project for both the production team and actors, the company has invited experienced consultants from China to ensure high-quality production. Episodes will be released daily, two per day, at no cost. Viewers are encouraged to share their honest feedback and join ToYm in witnessing the birth of this microseries.

We are not just building a brand; we are shaping a movement that empowers individuals to learn, express, and inspire. Today is only the beginning, and we are filled with excitement for the future,” Jment added.
“Moving forward, ToYm plans to launch at least five microseries and two feature films. Additionally, we will be making significant investments in three major talent competitions, including “ToYm Shining Star Idol Competition”, which aims to discover the next generation of entertainment stars; the ToYm Microseries - Scriptwriting Competition, designed to nurture emerging scriptwriters and behind-the-scenes production talents; and the ToYm Best Microseries Competition, which seeks to identify and support outstanding new creators in the microseries industry. Winners of these competitions will not only receive generous cash prizes but will also have the invaluable opportunity to sign contracts with ToYm, marking the beginning of a promising career in the entertainment industry,” he concluded.
